For many children, the idea of growing up creates fears that are sometimes real and sometimes imagined. How can kids learn that even when they face new and unfamiliar situations, they don't have to be afraid? Just as Little Seed and Little Fox learn to trust that the Farmer is good and kind, children will also learn to trust God. In the end, it will be okay because God is always with us. Review: Get this book in the hands and hearts and minds of every little kid! - We love this book so much we could cry. Itโs so good. I love how Lysa turns a difficult topic into a beautiful metaphor all throughout the book. How profound and beautiful and true it is to what life with the Father (the farmer) looks like in REAL life. This is so well thought out and written. And the illustrations are just so fun and cute! I want this in all the homes of all the little children I know so they can begin to understand the heart of God for themselves. So so precious. Review: You know that feeling when the sand seems like it's shifting - How many times have you said those four words to a child? "It will be okay." But deep down inside in places we don't talk about near enough, we aren't really sure. Because here's what we know, but oftentimes don't know how to say it, especially to a child: You know that yucky feeling called fear? It's real. Fear of strangers, fear of the dark, fear of the unexpected, fear of the unknown . . . all legitimate. All normal. All okay. You know that feeling when the sand seems like it's shifting? When you are comfortable and cozy, and then someone rips the covers right off you? Change. It's real too. Again, very okay. How so? Because your Creator loves You. He is good even when our circumstances aren't. He is trustworthy even when others aren't. And He is always watching You. Through the story of a seed, a farmer, and a fox, Lysa TerKeurst weaves a tale designed for young children to understand the difficult concepts of trust, fear, and change. Designed for ages 4-8, both children and parents will enjoy the biblical truths shared in this delightful story. The illustrations are vivid, the characters lovable, and the opportunity for discussion ripe for the picking. She also includes suggested memory verses for parents and children to work on together.

Trusting God
This is a sweet story to read to your children. Teaching them that God is looking out for them and is always near. The story of Little Seed and Little Fox will help children see that when they are afraid of change or scared of things, they can trust that God is with them, taking care of them, and loving them. Lysa wrote a beautiful letter at the beginning, sharing ten scriptures that you can memorize with your children. The illustrations are beautiful.

God the Father always watches over us. Great book!
This is a wonderful Christian book helping children understand growth in hard, scary seasons and how our Father always watches over and cares for us. Even though something seems scary, the Father is always there as we grow and transform into who we were meant to be.

A Story to Remember
This is by far one of my favorite, if not my favorite childrenโs book. My first time reading it I got a little emotional. The characters are relatable and really come to life . This is a well written book with lessons about its scary but okay to be out of your comfort zone to the life cycle of a plant and about God knowing whatโs best for us and us trusting His time. The friendship between the seed and fox is also the sweetest and a reminder of Gods goodness . He knew they needed each other and lined up everything perfectly for them to be friends & stay friends .

Charming Christian book
This is one of the sweetest, most charming stories. I bought it during the Covid-19 crisis when so much was changing for my little one. It was free on the kindle app, and after one flip through I knew I needed this one on my book shelf. It's become one of my four year old's favourite stories! The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and the story is an easy read about a little seed who doesn't like change and a little fox who feels afraid of most things. The Farmer (an allegory for God, explained clearly at the end) watches over all the creatures and takes care of them. The seed changes into a tree after going into a "dark scary place" but the Farmer is always watching and taking care of them. The book also includes some memory verse ideas. This is a winner for any Christian children's book collection.

5 out of 5! Ordered another one for family going through a health issue.
I LOVE this book, I took a chance ordering this book not knowing the author or any other kids books written by her but after starting to read it I began to cry! The story was so beautiful and symbolic of Gods goodness and our nature to fear or not trust. It's a wonderful story, has sculptures to memories with the kids. This book isnt just for the kids the parents get a lot out of it too. Leads to conversations as well which is great. My kids know they is my favourite book so they love to pick it and read together. So well written! Bought it for family as a gift for their kid going through treatment for cancer.
