This was a great purchase
The computer I've been using for WiFi surveys isn't useful any longer because it can't run Windows 11, which means I can't use the 6 GHz band. So, I went shopping for a tablet and found this. It's used, but it's great! The unit is clean and newish-looking. The display is bright. The touchscreen is scratch-free.Windows 11 is ready to go; when you start the computer for the first time you will find yourself in the setup menu. I followed the instructions on Tom's Hardware for setting up Windows 11 with an offline account. That works flawlessly. The Toughbook comes with a power supply, battery and stylus. That's it. I set it up with a USB keyboard. When you need it, the touchscreen is very usable. There are some tricks to learn, like pressing long in a particular spot is equivalent to a right-click.I've only had the Toughbook for a short while, but it impressed me enough that I bought a used detachable Toughbook keyboard to go with it. That will make the Toughbook into a laptop when I need it and provides space for a second, hot-swappable.
