Good product. 3in1 heads.
Another Klein product. Cant fault it. Saves getting three separate wire and ferrule crimpers.

Doesnāt damage the outer heatshrink sleeve
Does the job nicely, no damage to the outer heatshrink sleeve after crimping the ferrule, normal crimp tools always seen to compromise the outer sleeve but these donāt

Works well but not with uninsulated automotive crimps
Nice pair of crimps but doesnāt work with uninsulated automotive crimps. Works well with solid but crimps.

Gave great results. Connectors holding very strong. Would've liked a bit more leverage, reducing the needed force, but that's a personal preference.

As a marine mechanic, crimping heat shrink crimp terminals, is a very common task for me. Some dats, I do nothing but wiring for 8 hours. We have a similar tool to this at work, that I use every day. Knowing that I have some wiring work due on my project car (stereo, gauges, etc), I bought this tool because my own personal ratcheting crimper is substandard, and the one at work, spoiled me. I chose this one because I know that Klein is a trusted brand for electrical work. I read the reviews and one think that concerned me, was a few comments that said they were hard to use- physically stiff. That was actually true for about the first 5 or 6 crimps, requiring two hands. Then, they loosened up- and now it's brilliant. You can hold the crimper in your dominant hand, place the terminal in it, and squeeze it a click or two- just enough for it to hold the terminal- inset the wire with your other hand, and boom-done. Just as it should be. This makes good solid crimps, and doesn't damage the heat shrink insulation. The crimps were mechanically strong, no fear of them falling apart. I did use all 3 sizes that this tool is capable of. Paired with good- quality terminals, you're set. They're a bit large, but not overly so. This gives you good leverage while still being able to work in limited space. Five stars. Definitely recommend.

Ponchan muy bien las terminales, lo genial es la presión que ejercen y la variedad de terminales que puedes hacer con una sola pinza

Purovides the correct crimp for uninsulated terminals. Ratchet action prevents jaws opening before a full crimp is achieved.

One of the few crimpers I've used that functionally crimps insulated connectors. 22AWG holds well (larger diameter wires aren't a problem). Ferrules crimp in a "U" shape, which sticks well to the end of the wire, but can crush or deform oddly-so you need to pay attention to the pressure direction of the buss clamping mechanism used with those. Uninsulated and heat shrink crimps work well too. Pressure adjustment came well set-up. Experimenting, one 'click' lower makes a difference (doesn't work as well-can pull out). Die changes are easy, and the retaining screws are captive-only takes a few turns to loosen them enough to replace the die. Kit is made in China, pretty good quality overall. Nice deal for the kit vs a crimper and separate accessory dies. Crimping direction sometimes affects crimp quality, so pay attention to that. Which way, you say? Generally crimp to squish the solid part, not the split part. Your results may vary. Testing anything new is always a good idea. You do that (test things), don't you?
