Can this join together two 1/2” garden house couplings?

It can join together common garden hose couplings (the common size).

Can i use this to add to a gardena auto reind hose to add additional hose lebgth to reach the rest of my garden?

The simple answer is yes but it probably won't wrap nicely on your reel. Just disconnect an create a coil of hose in loops in direction it naturally coils, as delivered, hold together with string, or old laces or whatever. Do not wrap around between hand and elbow that leads to a mess. Also note most if not all garden hose connectors work together, eg Gardens with Hoselock.

Will it join 2 female 3/4 inch connectors?
