A good SSD, fast and efficient. Had it just over a year and still going strong. Plenty of storage capacity. Doesn't get overly hot when under heavy use. Loses one star due to the fact if you slightly knock it or move it during use it loses connection. 8/10

Super fast, comes with a good quality (although short) USB C to C cable. It was easy to connect to both Samsung phone and Windows laptop. Great portability- I couldn't believe how small and light it was! The capacity is huge- the 1TB version has more than enough space for my daughter's photos. Blazing fast read and write speeds at 1000MB/s made moving and copying thousands of photos and videos a breeze! I am extremely pleased with this product and confident it will last many years.

This is the first external ssd I've bought, and all I can say is" excellent ", in terms of size, it's no bigger than a 10 cigarette packet, remember them?. Installation is a breeze , it comes with a usb lead, that will fit most phones, samsungs at least as that the phone I use, so can't confirm it'll work with all phones. I only use it with my laptop though, and for that I used the supplied adapter enabling me to use the USB port on the laptop. As stated Installation was a breeze, I use windows 10 64bit and the computer immediately recognised the drive and opened the explorer window. Windows 7 to 11 64bit are acceptable the included leaflet states. Also the option to 256bit encryption is offered with encryption software on the device , bearing in mind the data encrypted may be vital to other software your computer accesses, be careful what you encrypt. Speed is quoted as 1080mbs, well it may be, its certainly fast, its my fastest drive. As I've had it for three weeks I can't give any assurance about its long-term reliability, thus far there haven't been any issues. I would certainly recommend anyone wanting a ssd to consider Lex, 1tb, 2tb, 4tb, are available.

A good price for an external drive to compliment a smaller capacity SSD installed on a home PC. I purchased a second drive to back up the files on our PC and laptop. This unit is compact and appears to be of good quality. A 2Tb SSD drive at this price is very good value for money.

Este SSD externo de Lexar me ha sorprendido por su velocidad real y estabilidad. Las transferencias son rapidísimas y funciona perfecto con iPhone, Mac y consola. Es compacto, ligero y no se calienta apenas. Excelente calidad por el precio. Muy contento con la compra: cumple e incluso supera lo esperado.

INTRODUZIONE Lexar ha creato, con questo SSD ES3, un piccolo gioiellino. Solido, ben fatto, rapido e comodo da utilizzare. Vale la pena averne uno? PRIMO CONTATTO Confezione semplice, senza fronzoli. All'interno si trova il necessario, senza particolarità: SSD, cavetto. Qualche istruzione. Niente di trascendentale. Minimalismo allo stato puro. Una volta estratto dalla confezione, lo SSD è al tatto molto gradevole. Solido, in materiale plastico che da subito una percezione di qualità. Effetto quasi metallico, nonostante la leggerezza. Non trattiene impronte e si maneggia benissimo. Sarebbe perfetto come archiviazione da viaggio. IN USO Ho acquistato questo SSD per ampliare la capacità di archiviaizone del Mac Mini (troppo, troppo risicata!) e per avere una memoria su cui installare applicativi e giochi, insomma venialità, senza andare a saturare la memoria SSD installata di serie. Collegato via USB Type C la velocità di lettura e scrittura, fin da subito, si palesa impressionante. Per soddisfare le mie necessità - in realtà venialità - ho proceduto a formattare lo SSD in formato APFS: diventa leggibile solo da Mac, ne migliora però gestione dello spazio e delle performance di lettura-scrittura. Utilizzato per installazione applicativi, come detto, quali Steam e giochi relativi, non c'è sostanzialmente differenza tra HD interno e SSD esterno. Se Steam, generalmente, rischia di non vedere e rilavere i dispositivi di archiviazione esterni, con questa soluzione vede la perficarica somce perfettamente integrata. In uso, quotidiano, non c'è alcuna obiezione da sollevare. Perfetto in tutto, gradevole ed armonico alla vista, anche lasciato installato accanto al Mac Mini. CONCLUSIONI Perfetta soluzione per espandere la ridotta capacità di archiviazione dei Mac contemporanei. Valido, carino, solido. Promosso a pieni voti!
