Perfect size, functions perfectly.
Works perfectly as a USB-C extender. I own an Otterbox Defender case and one of my new products I bought, the usb-c end is too short to fit into the port. These Cable Matters USB-C extenders fit in the opening perfectly, giving me enough room to connect my new device to my phone. These also work great if you have tight USB-C ports on your computer too.

Confirmed working (secure, snug fit) on the recessed USB-C port of the Huion Kamvas 13 Gen3
As stated, I've been looking for a solution to the problem of how to supply power to my Huion Kamvas 13 Gen3 drawing tablet, which only accepts 5v 2a thru the recessed USB-C port, but most USB-C cables are too bulky to fit there. I didn't want to be tied down to one specific cable, and it's always the cable that wears out first, so I looked into getting an adapter like this. Thanks to another review on this listing saying that it fits the drawing tablet I recently got, I decided to try this product out, and I can happily report that the port extender provided fits very well into the recessed USB-C port that supplies power to the drawing tablet. It even looks good doing it! Now I don't have to be tied down to only buying the Huion proprietary cable, and I can do that in a way that is *mostly* compatible with the USB standards laid down by USB-IF (this adapter is not specifically standards compliant because it does not have an ID chip in it, but this is how it has to be since the things on both ends can only ever read one ID chip from one cable, meaning that extenders and adapters such as this are forced to omit the ID chip in order to remain "invisible" to the controllers on both ends). Anyways, now I can use any fast-charging USB cable I want as long as I put this port extender in line with the recessed port. The adapter does fit *very* snugly, but this is a good thing because it means that the plastic that forms the recess for the deep-set USB-C port is what will take any load from the cable, rather than the circuit board the port is soldered to inside the tablet. Because of this snug fit, I will advise that anyone who is having connection issues with this port extender to first try pushing the extender into the port more firmly, with roughly 5 pounds force (2kgf is close enough if you use metric, since there's 2.2 pounds to the kilogram). Once the adapter is fully seated, it should cause zero issues for you, it does not change pinouts, it does not have any pull down or pull up resistors, it is basically "just a dumb piece of wire" as far as the electronics on both ends are concerned, and that's a good thing. Seems durable enough to last a long time, but time will tell. Even if not, it's inexpensive enough that buying replacements isn't a huge deal.

Works well, bends easily to protect your devices
These are great, just don't sit on them with your phone in your pocket. I have suffered two casualties this quarter. Luckily the piece of tech I've been adapting has survived.

Useful for extending recessed USB-C ports
Works great for the stupid recessed USB-C port on Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition. I add magnetic chargers to all my accessories to make it easy to snap charging on and off, and this mouse made that impossible because the port was recessed so far that the round magnet end couldn't fit and so the USB-C end couldn't reach. This extended it out (a little further than necessary, but it's fine).

Lets me connect USB-C flash drives to devices with cases that otherwise don't fit
It's silly and frustrating that I need this kind of adapter, but thankfully they do what I need them to do. I finally got a new tablet with USB-C last year and a USB-C flash drive. It makes transferring files onto the tablet easy, except that the case/cover on my ipad prevents the plug of the type-c flash drive from fitting. There's not a lip on the housing on the tiny flash drive that will give the plug enough clearance to get into the cut-out for the USB port on the case. It's the same for my phone; the usb-c flash drive just won't fit. From the look of it, this is a common design flaw in multiple brands of USB-C flash drives and lessened the usefulness. These cases on my tablet and phone are not at all convenient to take off when I need to use a flash drive. So for months I just resigned myself to not using them for that purpose. Then I pulled out an older, USB-A flash drive and tried it with a USB-A-to-C adapter I had, and the adapter had the clearance necessary to plug it in. Which was nice but USB-A is significantly slower to work with on a flash drive. Then i wondered if there was a Type-C-to-Type-C adapter I could use to similar effect, to give me a plug on my usb-c flash drives that would fit past the case and that led me to these adapters. And yes, they work! I can't speak to transfer speed benchmarks or whatever nitty-gritty details about performance. But anecdotally, they let me use my type-c flash drives with my ipad and my phone and the speed is what I would expect. It's really frustrating I need an extra adapter just to use a flash drive, but that's the reality. Thankfully these adapters are inexpensive and effective and useful and added value to the USB-C flash drive I own. So if you're main interest in this product is so you can use USB-C devices that don't fit past the case on your tablets/phones, I'd recommend it. It gets the job done.

Works with Topdon TC001 on Samsung S25
It works to connect my Topdon TC001 thermal imaging camera to my Samsung Galaxy S25 with the phone's protective case on. I would still support the camera so that it doesn't fall off from the bottom of the phone.

Great adapters to fit with larger cases!!!
These adapters work exactly as described. They let me use cords and accessories that previously wouldn’t fit with my phone case on, which saves a lot of hassle. The compact design is a big plus—easy to handle, not bulky, and they connect securely without feeling loose. The fact that it comes as a 2-pack is also convenient, since I can keep one at home and one in my bag. Great quality and very practical.

Essenziali 🔥

A great purpose connected onto existing cables for better fitting
We bought these to extend us cables where they would not fit into my phone with the cover and they work perfectly and avoid having to find or purchase replacement use cables. Its a great purchase for the price as there are two in a pack
