These work beautifully and release like a dream!
First time making tapers and I was a bit intimidated.. this mold makes me feel like a pro! Easy release so no mold release is needed. Consistent candles every time. Loved the first pair so much, I bought more to crank out more at a time. My only advice is to buy metal clamps for the top to hold the wick taut and get a nice solid burn throughout

Awesome Molds!
I've come along with my candle making, but I started with these as a total beginner and they worked out wonderfully. They recommend a 1:1 soy to beeswax ratio but I've learned that soy is too soft of a wax for a taper, even when blended with beeswax. It melts VERY quickly and while I like a drip, this combo drips A LOT! I use bleached beeswax and then just color the wax. The burn time is great with the perfect, minimal amount of dripping. I'd recommend cooling these at room temp, then in the freezer for 15 mins. ,then pull them. If they don't come right now, run under hot water for about a minute. Great product that's easy to use and predictable for repetition.

Wish I bought more
Wish I had gotten more but this works great. Easy to remove once done curing, size is perfect and it’s durable. Will say that it leaked a few times which made a mess but pour a little wax at the bottom to stopper it up and then fill once it’s dried. The design is very simple as well.

Great buy
Great value for the cost. I was able to make candles quick and easy. The sticky stuff you put at the end to make sure it doesnt leak is a great idea. You do have to smack them against somthing to loosen it up. Somthing soft so it doesnt Crack the plastic. Then, the candle comes right out. Highly reccomend!

Works great
These work really well. I use beeswax and occasionally blend with bayberry wax. Candles pop out with very little effort. I do not recommend using soy wax since it does not work well for tapers/pillars and does not release easily at all.

Not smoothe. Rustic finish.
Same problem as a separate reviewer— the interior mold is not smooth. I could tell as soon as I poured the wax (see pic). In fact, mine left both scratches in a tiger stripe patterned finish AND a very visible seam. Literally the one purpose of me not dipping and choosing to mold my tapered candles is so they can be perfectly smooth 😆 Otherwise, for two candles I’d just spend an extra 10 minutes dipping. Kind of annoying! That said, it’s a fair design otherwise and they popped out easily. Was also nice that it came with putty. Would be a fine option if you were going for pure utility and not aesthetic or design. But that should be specified in the description or corrected by the manufacturer

Rough
So this makes nice candles and all and I’m not sure if it’s user error or not but it feels IMPOSSIBLE to get the candle out without almost breaking the plastic banging it off of something for a while. Not my favorite and honestly considering returning but I know people have their preferences. I’d prefer a silicone mold to be able to just pop them out easier and no need to repeatedly beat them off of something risking damaging the product and my candles
