Love it hate it ! Looks cool and somewhat durable. Mine fell apart/ broke. Actually kind of blame Apple as the 16. Has an extra button to take pictures with and this makes the case only have limited protection in that area and it is definitely a weak spot. Bought this as a replacement for the first one. So like it enough to give them a second chance.

Junk. Should have never switched from otter box when I got my new phone. With pelican being a good brand on many other things I thought I could trust it. It’s broken twice now in multiple spots. Camera button on right side. Charge port. The action button on the top left. All these spots have broken because the plastic is too thin. I’ve use the warranty once. 4 months after I got it. This time it’s broken again same spots….At least I got 6 months out of the new one. But still it’s definitely defective in those areas and I wish I could get my money back. It hasn’t even been a year of using it.

This case is so thin and light that I almost keep thinking it isn’t there. Fits perfectly and the extra magnet material solves a lot of “MagSafe” difficulty with other cases. Very very easy to install. Buttons all work as though there’s no case over them. Perfect quality, basically. The increased rim height around the camera lenses is a very good feature since most cases are inadequate in that area. The only thing to be aware of is that, given the lightness of the case, it can’t possibly have the maximum protective value available, but this trade off is ok for me because I’m not prone to dropping my phone. (I’ve never had a cracked screen protector since they were invented, and I don’t work on a construction site.) It will prevent scratches though and should be good enough to usually prevent damage from the usual hand held heights. That’s the sort of design tradeoff use case it’s for.

While driving towards the freeway, I inadvertently left my iPhone with THIS protective case on top of my car. As I accelerated, the phone remained securely positioned until I reached speeds exceeding 70 miles per hour. During this period, the phone number fell off my car and the case and rolled several times before coming to rest in the middle of the freeway. Remarkably, the phone remained undamaged throughout the incident. It continued to ping its location until I was able to safely retrieve it. I was astounded by the resilience of this phone case and the phone’s complete absence of any damage. The only component that required replacement was a small screen protector that had covered the camera lens. To this day, I continue to utilize the case for its protective capabilities.

Good case

I bought this case thinking it would be a quality item like the Pelican cases I own. It is not! While the case is satisfactory the customer service has been horrible. I broke my belt clip and filed a claim and received an email they received it and would follow up. All I got was silence. I filed a second claim and finally received an email after a couple of weeks. I responded to this email and ask them to give me a call which I give them credit they contacted me. They advised me I needed to send a receipt for the purchase. After over a month I finally got the issue resolved and they are sending me a new holder after I had to pay the shipping to receive it.. I WILL GO BACK TO OTTER BOX FOR PHONE CARRIER AS I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM WARRANTING THEIR PRODUCT. They don’t require you to pay for the warranty product to be shipped to you!

Bought the voyager case for my new phone and was initially happy with the case. Felt sturdy and the MagSafe magnets are nice and strong. I’ve had some minor drops and while the case kept the phone from getting damaged the inner plastic piece has cracked into several pieces. One of the cracks was just from trying to remove the phone case. While it is easy to put the case onto the phone. Removing it feels like you are going to brake the case every time and as I found out you actually may. If your use of this case is fairly light duty then it makes a great option but if you are dropping or hitting your phone on things even relatively lightly I would not recommend because at $60 it is not cheap to replace every time you drop your phone.

Bought for my husbands phone and he loves it. It is definitely tough and protects your phone.
