Spend the money on a better product
Really poor design. Cheaply made. The grates were cut and installed with no sense of safety. The grates slice into your hands if you dont use gloves. The single screw allows the sluce to bend opening the cracks and allowing gold to fall out.

Seems like a good product. Lots of burrs, be careful!
Seems like a good product with one warning. I cut my hands trying to assemble this thing. A lot of the edges have burrs and will slice you up if you're not careful. You could wear gloves and avoid the trouble...I , on the other hand, took a few hours and some sandpaper, files, etc to clean up all the dangerous areas. I've been a metal worker for 10+ years, and this got me ๐. Other than that, I did find some gold in Mitake Japan!! Gold is NOT common out here, but this thing found me a flake and some flour. Mind you it was my first time using a sluice, once I get better, this thing is going to produce!! I'm giving it 4 stars, it's amazing for the price, just needs some clean up.
