This is awesome product that was so helpful when I burned my arm on my oven rack. It was so soothing. I also used it when I fell on a curb and Brookeโs been on my upper lip for healing purposes, and my lip healed so nicely. The upper lip is a difficult place to get any type of bandage to stick as was this one so I were at at night, which usually worked well for me. Itโs expensive but worth the price.

Absolutely incredible for awful burns. No sticking, just hydrating protecting
I got a very bad boiling oil burn on my arm weeks ago. This dressing doesnโt stick to your skin at all, as in it doesnโt pull up any skin when you go to change it. We all know how delicate burnt scabs are, as well as the upper dermis when it blisters or otherwise comes away from the lower levels. I have had zero skin cells come off with this. Itโs allowed my skin to makntain integrity as it heals, no pulling skin off before it is ready to easily, and even then I have to do it myself. This product is not scented, and it doesnโt have any ingredients such as essential oils which are very bad to put on your skin as it is, let alone damaged, compromised, and sensitive skin which develop an allergic response easily that may be permanent when it comes to using essential oils in any product intended to put on your skin. I did find this size difficult to place over my particular burn, however I will keep this smaller size and the larger one in my first aid bin, to ensure Iโm prepared for any wound that needs to be kept covered so it heals. It is about 18โ thick, and has completely eliminated the awful pain from even slightly warm water in the shower. I can shower at my normal temperature. The dressing needs changing after each shower as the gel absorbs water and oozes around the edges. I keep mine held on with Coban wraps. Using that, this dressing stays exactly where I put it. I am extremely pleased with how this has helped my burn heal. I had initially tried the โnon stickโ bandages with aloe with lidocaine applied, and those stuck. Ouch! This solved the problem entirely and provides a hydrating barrier that is exactly what a burn needs. The lidocaine did help with acute pain. I read that these need/shouldnโt use any product underneath; so I did let the aloe sit on exposed skin until it dried down, and then used a cotton round with micellar water to gently wipe any residue off before putting this dressing on. Due to how protected my skin is by this, I havenโt had any scarring, just fresh pink skin when some of my scab-adjacent skin has come off. I will need to protect the skin this summer with a 100% UV wrap, to make sure it doesnโt burn from sensitivity, especially as I live at a high elevation do the sunโs rays are more intense. A very well earned 5/5, for first through pretty serious second degree burns this is a fantastic product. I will always keep it on hand!

Great for sore nipples from breastfeeding.
These worked great for sore nipples during the early days of breastfeeding. They sell the same thing for breastfeeding for like triple the price! I was able to cut the 4in ones in half and use one half on each side. They are quite sticky so to keep them from sticking I put some nipple butter on first.

Will pull at your wound and healthy skin when removed
Edges wouldn't stick, i had to trim a few sides and corners while on my skin, because if it doesnt stick it hardens. The main part of the bandage stuck really well. I was covering a patch of thin skin that was a horrible blister and the skin keeps getting blood blisters so I wanted to cover it. 9 hrs later my shoulder skin area began ache which it hadn't before. So I took it off. The bandage pulled at my skin, healthy skin and thin skin. It was painful to remove. Do not recommend

Comforting Pain Relief but Short Lived
I bought these for a large, bad burn on my back and it absolutely provided pain relief with its cooling properties and the softness of the gel, but they did not stick for very long. The size was a bit smaller than I expected as well, but it still covered a burn an inch and a half wide and an inch high. Application has to be precise. For large burns I recommend the large neosporin bandages.

Great for abrasions, but only adequate for deeper injuries
I used these to treat a large ~3"x 4" wide x 1/8" deep abrasion on my upper/outer shin I received when I tripped while running downhill in the woods and rammed my shin into a root . It was quite deep, and quite painful. After disinfecting with hydrogen pyroxide and alcohol (a very painful process on a wound this large), I was using gauze and aquaphor jelly, but the gauze was sticking to the injury and the nerves were raw, so I knew I needed something else. Doctors have known for three thousand years that you treat large open injuries like this by keeping them moist and sterile, so this seemed ideal. It was an enormous improvement over the gauze, instantly cooling and secure. The greatest advantage was that it conformed exactly to the injury, so whereas the bandages tugged and pulled as I moved my leg (especially when wearing pants at work), this is nice and smooth and secure. I used some Leukotape P on the edges to keep it in sealed and in place, and that was enough. I really like how it is translucent, so you can visually monitor the injury, and thermally conductive, so you can monitor the level of warmth to watch for infection. This was sufficient for the early healing phases. However, there are a couple things I learned. Once, I needed to replace it once a day, as if I waited longer, the moisture in the hydrogel was exhausted and the pad would become bound to the injury, and removing it would pull away the scabbing/scarring, disrupting the healing process. This worsened as the injury healed. Second, the hydrogel dressing naturally swells as it absorbs exude from the injury, and that's fine. Third, you should wrap the hydrogel pad in an outer layer to pad the injury against minor contact irritation. I found Mueller M-tape - and old favorite of mine for injuries of any significant type - to be fantastic for this. I used all ten pads over a period of about two weeks, and the injury steadily healed, but I think it would have healed more quickly if I had replaced the pads every day instead of trying to remove them, thus allowing them to bind. After the wound had decreased by about 50% and I had exhausted the pads, I switched to non-adhering gauze pads and copious quantities of aquaphor, wrapped in Mueller M-tape and secured with a small amount of Leukotape P. Initially I wrapped the M-tape in a thin layer of cheap cotton athletic tape, but as I don't get involved in vigorous activity I didn't need to so to protect the M-tape from damage - for you it might be different. I replaced this every two days, and rarely had adherence problems again. If these pads were twice as thick, I think they'd be more effective for treading large, deep wounds. However, for much shallower wounds I think they'd be perfect. I plan on ordering another pack to keep on hand.
