Can it be wired to a door bell?

It would need a DC transformer that has an output voltage same as the unit. Then the unit can be modified to work. If you are capable to do this, then yes. You can even use computer or phone charger ad the power supply if right voltage. It is not hard but you would have to be skilled enough and have the right tools to do it. Just to wire it directly to a doorbell circuit without any modifications, the answer is no don’t do it.

how do i put batteries in?

Should be a small philips head screw on the back cover. Remove screw and open cover. Install batteries as shown.

Funciona para lo que describe, es decir, que alguien toque el timbre y tu le respondas algo ( solo si se activa el timbre primero puedes hablar, si nadie toca el Timbre tu no puedes activar desde dentro el speaker) la calidad es pobre, el sonido se escucha con poco de interferencia. No puedes bajar el Volumen, ni cambiar tonos Funciona pero es caro para lo que entregan

Great as temporary intercom

We used this as a temporary intercom while my mother-in-law was recovering from surgery. Worked great! Did not install permanently. Sound was good and the bell chime was nice getting our attention that she needed anything:)
