Great sound, very good nc ability. Would recommend.

These buds are marketed as a premium audiophile product, at a premium price. The fit of the ear pieces was difficult to get right and on one side it just wouldn’t fit and became uncomfortable after a half hour’s listening. The sonic performance is mixed, it is clear and instruments are defined but it’s quite far on the conservative side, so much so that to bring the sound stage into the foreground, the volume has to be turned up too high. The timing could be better, this may not affect the casual listener, for this price it isn’t ‘audiophile’. The ANC on a bus or train is very poor and doesn’t do its job - I found it completely ineffective and had to turn the volume up to an unacceptably high level. Call quality isn’t good as a result if poor ANC. The app has a lack of equaliser options and is light on features. I contacted B&W support by mail, received no reply and returned the buds. This is a company relatively new to this market, even though it’s a well respected loudspeaker manufacturer, more development is needed. There is a lot of marketing around ear bud products and a lot of differing reviews, it’s an area that is hard to please everyone and other reviewers may find these buds suit them, to be fair. They didn’t suit me - the killer is the almost total lack of ANC, which depends on the eartip seal for 75% of its effectiveness, it just tops up the seal acoustic blocking which is hit and miss.

Sound is fantastic, however comes at a sacrifice by poor battery life in both EarPods and battery case and also looses connectivity and does not auto reconnect!

I’ve always admired the quality and consistency of the B&W floorstanding speakers but I’ve been a bit hesitant to stray from my own preference for both recording and listening to music on. Those being my various Sennheiser headphones I’ve had over the years including my current ones I have for my turntable which are the HD-800s. However, after reading a number of reviews in various hi-fi forums and magazines too I thought I’d give these ones a try. I would have gone for the Pi-8 but didn’t want to spend too much in case I didn’t like them and had hassle returning them. I was so impressed right out the box with the clarity and open sound that these headphones gave, the ability to tweak the treble and bass a touch is a nice addition for those folk like me that prefer a slightly meatier and more driven bass and a treble that really sizzles. The app is also a brilliant tool for keeping check on the battery charge and the connections and updates too. Very impressed but the only negative is that there was no USB cable adaptor so had to purchase a separate charging plug for these headphones.

Loved the px8 overhead headphones but after about 3 weeks materials where deteriorating. So sent back to get these instead the sound is even better than overheads and materials far better so nice and so comfortable. Snug and went for brisk walk no budging didn't need to adjust fit at all well impressed. On half volume loud enough and very clear audio separation.

I really wanted to like these earbuds. To start, the sound is exceptional, I've never heard earbuds with this wide a soundstage and balance, truly amazing. The design is sleek, with a very premium build and good sturdy carrycase. The Active Noise Cancellation worked well in my experience, not market leading but passable, and so too was the passthrough mode. However, the fit for me was rather poor, the medium size caused significant discomfort and pain, while the small was absolutely tiny. I had to purchase other third party eartips to even make them slightly comfortable. However, due to the bulky, heavier design of the buds they bounced around a lot while walking. The battery life proved good for me, but this was downplayed by the very unreliable connection. Whilst on a brief walk every time I turned my head too far the earbuds disconnected from the Bluetooth device, which for a premium set of earbuds I found unacceptable. If the buds fit your ears, you'll be blown away by the sound and I find they offer a fairly decent value proposition compared to other buds on the market, unfortunately the poor fit for me was the nail in the coffin for these buds. All in all, if the buds fit you, some of the connectivity issues can be looked over, and you'll be blown away by the sound quality. They just weren't a fit for me unfortunately, so I reluctantly returned them.

I have had the Pi6 for a long time now, i have decided to again spend money to replace them. The software for the product is extremely poorly made. It took my 1.5 hours to update the firmware on delivery as it krpt failing. It was only through trying again and again that it was sucsessful. If you answer a call in whatsapp it will often drop to coming out of one ear. Just before boarding a flight the headphones crashed and would not connect to Bluetooth dispite numerous phone restarts and attempts. The only way to fix was to use the reset button on the bottom of the case that can be activated via a pin or small paper clip so it was not possible to fix until home after 13 hours in a flight with no headphones. When by a road or in a place with people taking within 10m of you and you are on a call the filters will often prioritise the background sound over your voice. I have had to abandon calls repeatedly. My issue with these headphones is the software not the build quality. They are conpletely unusable at times and the others like in call it is so bad that you have to either not use them or abandon the call. Yhis is the reason for the low review score. I advise you go for another brand. Note: i read many reviews before this purchase but this is based on my long term use, basically i chose to spend another £200 rather than kerp using them

These are so good, really impressed with them. They are a good fit in ear and the sound is amazing. Only downside is battery life.

Ich habe die Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 mit den Cambridge Audio Melomania M100, den Denon PerL Pro und diversen No-Name-Modellen aus China verglichen. Am Ende habe ich mich für die Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 entschieden. ​B&W ist der klare Sieger bei der Klangqualität und dem Tragekomfort, allerdings ein Totalausfall (Flop) beim Customizing – es lässt sich in der App praktisch so gut wie nichts einstellen. ​Die Denon bieten unzählige Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, sind aber viel zu klobig. Ihr Klang war extrem detailreich, aber nicht so „göttlich“ und voll wie bei den B&W. Die Cambridge Audio wiederum waren die goldene Mitte, kamen bei mir jedoch defekt an (ständiges hochfrequentes Fiepen), weshalb ich sie zurückgeschickt habe. ​Mein Fazit zu den Bowers & Wilkins Pi6: ​Pro: ​Klang: Ein hervorragender, präziser und sehr edler Sound. Man gewöhnt sich schnell daran – nach einer Weile möchte man nichts anderes mehr hören. ​Sitz und Komfort: Sicherer Halt im Ohr und extrem leicht. Man spürt die Kopfhörer selbst nach einem halben Tag Tragen praktisch nicht. ​Konnektivität: Stabile, parallele Verbindung zu zwei Geräten gleichzeitig (Multipoint). ​Kontra: ​ANC: Das Active Noise Cancelling ist nicht Spitzenklasse, aber durchaus brauchbar. Es dämpft die Umgebung, filtert sie aber nicht komplett weg. ​Ladestandsanzeige: Es gibt viel zu wenige Indikatoren. Der genaue Akkustand des Case lässt sich nicht ablesen; es gibt nur eine kaum sichtbare LED, was mir definitiv zu wenig ist. ​Preis: Die In-Ears sind teuer. Wenn ich mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs bin und Podcasts höre, nutze ich daher lieber billige China-Kopfhörer. Da ist der Schmerz nicht so groß, falls mal einer heruntenfällt, beschädigt wird oder verloren geht.

Great sound, extremely horrible connectivity. The auto connect always have some kind of issue which require you to disconnect and reconnect to work. The connection is so bad that it always cuts off the moment you enter anywhere that has 10+ people. All these connection issues are not worth dealing with just for the sound quality it provides Update: Earbuds stopped charging after using light daily usage for 3 months
