Love it!
It arrived in great conditions. It is a quality-build instrument, super comfortable to play and fairly light as you would expect from a headless. The gig bag is extremely comfortable, though it could use some extra storage. For example, you could not fit a large tablet to bring your music to gigs. However, the bass itself is excellent and I love playing it. For comparison, I have an Ibanez EHB 1505, about twice as expensive, admittedly lighter and more comfortable, but I prefer this one. The Ibanez sounds too "modern" for lack of a better term. I would not describe myself as a lover of "classic" tones, most of my basses are active 5 strings, (8 out of 9, the one PJ is the exception) with humbuckers (no single coil anywhere), including MusicMans, Marleaux Votan with quad Delano pups, fretless 5 string, 6 string Sire M bass... My amp is a Phil Jones rig, and I use pedals ranging from distortions/fuzz and compressors to shimmer delays and reverbs, envelope filters, synths, chorus/vibrato, octavers, tremolos, etc. Nothing about me really comes across as a traditional bass player. I like that the Ibanez has a sweepable midrange and passive midrange control (the Cort does NOT have either), but I don't find myself needing either of those. The Ibanez is just a little too much and I haven't really found a situation in which it shines. This Cort was immediately used for recordings and a few shows already. I'm probably gonna get rid of the Ibanez.

hreat bass! does it all and is light and portable
great instrument!! super light easy to transport great sounds from the markbass pre amp and the pickups are very responsive in passive mode too!! size and weight are closer to a guitar! gig bag is good enough. bass had a good setup and the tuners are super solid! burl top looks really nice. i would have preferred white fret markers on the edge ot the neck but in total is a very well designed bass. the 0 fret + clamp is perfect for changing string gauges!!

Amazon will not help me with warranty or return, and the manufacturer is ghosting me.
I read all the reviews and was very impressed with the customer service and the quality of the Bass, but unfortunately, when I received the bass I fell in love at first sight. The action was a little low and I took it to my local guitar tech to have it adjusted. He informed me that there was a severe bump on the 15th fret and the set screw at the bridge end that holds the truss nut in place had fell off so the neck would have to be removed to reset the locking screw. And he could not guarantee that filing the frets would be able to correct the bump on the fret board. I contacted Amazon and they said that there is no warranty or return on this particular item. And they told me that I would need to reach out to the manufacturer for warranty. I will update this review if I finally receive any help from the manufacturer or Amazon. update I just received my new space five from Anthony the distributor the tech did a excellent ok the setup on my new bass. I know things happen. Seems like they always happen to me, but the fact remains that the manufacturer jumped right on board and took care of my problem in a very timely fashion. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment with the space5 and will definitely purchase other guitars manufactured by Cort guitars

Very good instrument. Light and comfortable to play with good tonal variety. Tuning is easy but takes some getting used to. The build quality is also good. Highly recommended.

Excellent bass guitar with great bass sound. The B string has a sharp deep bass sound. Flat curved lightweight body making it easy to play. Very happy to have chosen this beautiful green one to be my first guitar.

Easily the best bass I own.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looks good, sounds good, plays good. Also arrived from the factory quickly and was delivered much faster than anticipated. Weight: Lightweight. Its got a good size to it, but it isn't light by any means. A Perfect weight, really. Playability: Very playable. No fret buzz, no sharp frets, all electronics came perfect, and sounds amazing. Slight issue though. The placement and small size of the strap locks leads to the strap failing a lot of the time. You can barely move with this bass how it comes, but it's an easy fix. Color: Color is great although a little muted. The back does not keep the green color scheme but that's okay because who tf cares about the back of the bass and its gonna get worn down anyways so what's the point. Value for money: Highly recommend! My first Cort instrument, and I am definitely impressed by the quality, finish, and playability of this.

Cort headless bass
Great 5 string bass. Very comfortable to play and quite light considering the extra hardware. Setup was perfect out of the box. Bertolini pickups don't disappoint.
