I absolutely love this 90-pod hydroponic system. I now own two of them and use them primarily for leafy greens like lettuce, watercress, water spinach, bok choy, gai lan, and an assortment of herbs. They’ve been incredibly productive. Once set up, the system runs smoothly with very little maintenance. I left for a week long vacation - filled it up with water and nutrients before I left and came back to a jungle! At times, I have trouble keeping up with harvests and have given extra veggies to friends and family. The vertical design maximizes growing space without taking over the room, and plants grow faster and healthier compared to soil. This system is perfect if you want high output and frequent harvests - great for cut and come again crops too. After seeing how well the first one performed, buying a second was an easy decision. Highly recommend for beginners or experienced alike. The system makes setup super easy and the kit comes with everything you need (except seeds).

This large hydroponic growth kit has a cart with three different sections. It has pod openings for 90 plants. The two upper sections are the same size and the bottom section is larger for taller plants. I’ve had mine for about four weeks. My plants are starting to grow, especially the lettuce! This is a lot of fun, and if you’re an amateur like me, the instructions were very clear and helpful. We found it fairly easy to assemble and get going. It has four wheels and two of the wheels lock. It has a large reservoir on the bottom for water. There’s a little window and measurement chart on the bottom reservoir to see when you need to add water and know how much fertilizer to add, as well. It comes with exactly 90 of each of these: sponges, sponge brackets, clear plastic sprouting covers, and stickers to keep it dark in the tank. I wish it came with a few extra of these, but fortunately for me, I ordered some extras in advance. It also has 45 covers that are solid black - if you do not want to have a plant in those openings. The pump runs quiet and does not disturb any of our normal activities. This kit does not come with seeds. It has three different light settings - one for fruits, and two for veggies. The cart seems slightly on the delicate side, so, I would not consider this super sturdy. I also think it’s a tiny bit pricey, but, I’m hoping if I stick with it, it will pay off in groceries. So far, it’s working great and I’m enjoying and learning as I go along. I sincerely hope it works out just as well for you.

We love it, a few weeks in and the sprouts are started. Assembly was easy. Changing between light selections is a simple button push. Buttons are more like touchscreen than actual buttons. Took a few try’s to figure out. Has some noise of water moving that is easy to hear over at a normal conversation level. Did also purchase a ph and ppm meter to ensure water quality. Over all it functions as designed and advertised.

I've only been using this about a week. It's a little different from the aerogarden because water does not flow to each pod. But the sponge medium seems to stay well saturated. Ive had good sprouting success even with some older seeds. The pod holes do fit the aerogarden pods, but their tops are slightly bigger so the little domes don't fully cover them but you can of course use others. Set up was a little tricky. I did have to redo some things and was worried about breaking it in the process, but it held up well.

I learned a lot by growing in this system. First of all, choose the full grown size of your plants wisely. You might not want or need to plant in every single space provided like I did. I was totally overrun! lol. That said, my seeds did sprout and grow and we had more lettuce than we could possibly eat. I had an issue with roots clogging the pump. Not sure how Im going to handle that on the next round. It fit perfectly in my kitchen and got lots of attention from guests. They loved how it looked and were super curiuos. It was fun to show them how easy it is to fill the water and add nutrient. That was my daily routine while making my morning coffee. I’m going to try another round of growing things this fall.

I purchased this product for my science classroom and it is so easy to assemble and operate. The instructions are clear and precise for those with little experience. And my students loved watching all the stages of growth. Many even came in on Monday's before class just to check the weekend progress! The easy light scheduling, and diversity for vegetation vs flowers was perfect for my agricultural class!

Not too sure if I love this or not. I'm not a fan of leaks, especially when they occur while I'm asleep at night and soak my floor. This big boy can really leak all over the place, too. All due to a simple short move. Why put wheels on it if it's gonna leak every time you move it? Doesn't make sense. We are thinking about using some black sealant on it to prevent it from reoccurring because it can do some serious damage to a floor or wall if it suddenly pops a leak. It has done a great job of sprouting seeds rapidly, and I'm already on my second batch of romaine and tomatoes. But again, wall or floor damage is not worth a few heads of lettuce. Okay, just went round and round with one of their representatives. Not going to work with this company anymore. They have excuses for everything, when in all reality it is an inferior product that is badly in need of quality parts. Clearly nobody wishes to improve the issues, but overlook them. So I'm overlooking the need to ever buy from them again. Really, people, customer service says so much about a company's integrity! It means the difference between one sale, or dozens. I am appalled by today's lack of good customer service, and this issue merely cements why so many of these rinky dink businesses die during an inflationary moment when prices soar. You can enjoy your luxuries now, but trust me, if great companies like Sears, Montgomery Wards, Kmart, etc, have crashed and burned what makes you think your lesser miniscule business will survive on lousy customer service? It won't. This company is very combative, and they love to color their conversations with gooey terms like "Have a sunny day!" despite their unwillingness to remedy a problem. So if you're smart, move on. Too many competitors to settle for this one! That's how I see it. Update: I wouldn't buy this again if they paid me to do so. Some of the rudest customer service ever! No thanks! Add that these units have begun to leak like crazy everywhere. The grow lights on top have sagged terribly, and the units do not maintain their 'scheduled' routines. Sometimes the lights come on, sometimes they don't. Lots of cheap shortcuts used on these units as well. I'll go back to using my Aerogardens instead, as even after 30 years they still work incredibly well. The only reason I tried these units was for portability and not being countertop as I don't have a lot of available space. Portability is also terrible as the rollers twist constantly when in movement and the unit wants to tip over. Very cheap results and clearly these were not made for longevity!

I love this, very well built, I've used it the 3xs I've grown herbs, vegetables, berries, started them here and transplanted them. Very easy to use and low maintenance

Had this set up and running withing the first few hours of it being delivered, I'm super pleased with it everything arrived in great condition and even showed up a day early. Instructions were easy to follow and you are provided with enough nutrients to keep the system running for a while before having to buy more. I was worried after watching some reviews online that it was going to be loud when running but i was pleasantly surprised that sound is very minimal. It is large but its design makes it fit in my kitchen nicely. highly recommend! The seller even messaged me to make sure I received the growing system in good condition and to see how everything was going to make sure I wasn't having any issues, and if any did arise over the next 2 years they will be happy to help me with any problems I may have the first time! A++ for customer service!

I love this product and have grown quite a few things in the few months that I have had it. I have grown all kinds of lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, jalapeños, bok choi, ghost peppers, cucumbers, and celery. Maintaining the proper nutrients makes the plants grow really fast and the water alarm is super helpful to make sure there is always enough water for your plants. I did have a hiccup where the pump stopped functioning but Growells customer service was quick to rectify the problem and replace the pump. Overall this product is worth the money, especially with the peace of mind that they stand behind their products and their customer satisfaction 100%.

It was easy to set up it runs quiet and does all the work for you. I have fresh veggies all the time haven't tried fruit yet. I trim my lettuce heads make salad put in smoothies and more awaits the next day. The one small flaw was one water pipe on each side were not quite secure to prevent leaking so I secured with aquarium glue problem solved. I am completely happy with this purchase it will save alot of money on healthy food and you can't beat the freshness. Thank you Growell

I don’t post reviews very often, because most vendors are just doing the job they should be doing since you bought their product. But dealing with Gina at growell prompted me to write this review. I am really annoyed by delayed responses. Well growell responded immediately to my email and they actually read the email, because the responses were exactly to the questions I asked. My bottom light panel was flickering. They asked me to do some tests, which I did and sent them a short video. Unfortunately the panel led’s are damaged. But Gina at growell, came to the rescue and sent me a replacement panel. It is in its way. Thank you for a great customer service. Gina & Growell.
