Great but big and needs more dividers.
This is really great! A little big, and not enough dividers in my opinion. There's enough room for a tablet and then some but a divider would make room for things that are likely to fall over like pens or phones. There is one divider I just suggest there be one more. It's a sturdy plastic which is important and keeps it shape it's clear so it doesn't stand out however while I would buy this I feel it may be a little expensive for what is essentially just plastic. The makers may want to take the price down a notch. However I haven't been able to find on as good or like this so I can understand why they'd be able to get away with charging so much.

Bed Butler 2.0: Bedside Caddy
The plexiglass caddy is sturdy and should last for years. It stays in place well once placed between the foundation and the mattress (a small stick on traction pad is also included to further help it stay put). It holds a surprising number of items. It is quite helpful in keeping remotes, reading glasses, tablets, and various other things corralled and within easy reach while in bed. It gives a home to all those items that seem to grow little feet and hide whenever you want to find them. It's one of those little luxuries that you won't realize how much of an essential it actually is until you get it. I was lucky enough to catch it on a $10 off flash sale which made it a deal since the regular price is rather expensive. I did find the two screw fasteners a little tricky to initally align properly to assemble the caddy but nothing a little trial and error and patience couldn't overcome. I highly recommend this caddy to anyone considering buying it.

It's ok. Looking back, I wouldn't have purchased ...
It's ok. Looking back, I wouldn't have purchased it had a I known it would be as noisy and in the way as it is. Based on the picture, we guessed that having it next to the night stand would work out well, except my husband constantly hits his calf muscle on it and being that we have wooden slats on the side (like in the advertised picture), it makes a lot of noise-whether you're getting in or out of the bed. We've tried moving it, but it just seems to get in the way due to it being plastic and one of us is always waking the other and/or running into it. we may eventually buy a cloth one, but I'd suggest, unless you can place it directly at the head of the bed away from where you slide out on your side, to go with a different kind. Other than that, the product itself serves its purpose and is structurally sound. it holds both laptops and the remote holder can be sized to hold 1-4 remotes.

God help you if it doesn't work out of the box
If you order this product and it works on your bed out of the box, it's great. If you order this and need to take advantage of the free "customized hardware" that they offer to make this device compatible with other beds, good luck.My bed extends about 2 inches out from the mattress, which means that the Bed Butler can't sit flush against the mattress and box springs. So the arm that extends in between the mattress and box spring is missing several inches of grip, leading it to slide out over time. I ordered a custom arm, just requesting it be 3 inches longer than the standard. The next day, I was told my item would ship out the following day. 9 days later, it hadn't arrived, so I wrote back... they could find no record of it having been sent, so they promised to send me out a new order the following Monday (which they did) and include a free gift for my trouble (which they didn't bother to do). When the item arrived, it was very clear that they hadn't even read my request, as this piece was an "L-shaped" acrylic plate that just plainly won't work for what I need, instead of the longer flat piece that I requested.I paid $7.95 for shipping, by the way, which is way more than the $3.07 it cost to actually ship the "free" item... maybe that was a very nice $5 bubble envelope?

Great fit for my surface pro laptop and file folders.
I really like this bedside caddy concept. When I received the product it came with a gel sticky square that I was supposed to adhere to the bed, but it's very confusing and, because I have an adjustable bed, it's not practical. I wanted to use it for my laptop, but I am unable to stick it to the bed so it's not really what I expected. Maybe if you don't have an adjustable bed it would be a better product. That is why I gave it 4 stars.

Keep looking, you don't want this one....
Very sturdy but it sticks out and the plastic scrapes my leg every time I get out of bed and I had to pay extra 6$ for a tiny piece of plexiglass that slides in to separate the area for remote controls.ok, I didn't have to, I could have done without it. Needless to say that this bed Butler has been retired and will be moving to someone else's house. Wasted approx 38$

Fantastic design and very functional.
This product works great! I was a little concerned about how sturdy the Bed Butler would be, but all of that doubt went out the window when I received it. It has a very strong design and I have no worries about loading it full of all of my electronics. I work from home and am always doing late night work in bed.. It is more than capable of holding everything I need while working (laptop, phone, notebook, pen, glasses, and 2 remotes). My fiance loves it because now all of my work "crap" is off of my night stand and my laptop no longer has to go on the ground at night. If you are looking for something to store/organize everything you use in bed, look no further. It is not cheaply made and I honestly can't imagine ever having to replace it.

works
specifically wanted a see through one... so i didn't have to dig to see what i left in there...big enough for a couple books, laptop and several phones..but i can see it being fragile if i bump it really hard (ie. step on it while getting off the bed)scrapes my leg if i fail to avoid it getting off the bed...them selling the divider is a ripoff... really? just include the damn divider (good for remotes, and stuff you want to stay upright)
