HBH = 4-8 tsp per gallon syrup Price per gallon syrup: If buying 100ml bottle of HiveAlive for $25.99, price per gallon syrup is $2.59. If buying 8oz HBH for $22.95 and require 8 tsp per gallon syrup this would cost $3.76 per gallon syrup. Both prevent syrup from fermenting.

In addition to supplementing in syrup in spring has anyone also sprayed on new foundation to encourage package bees to draw comb?

I just tried it this fall, I had bees move into a hive this late fall and thought it might help them make it this winter. I know that they will need all the help they can get.
