Thrives in shade
Best grass seed we’ve ever tried and it thrives in shade! Area landscapers all told us that we would forever struggle with Kentucky Bluegrass under our large trees. This stuff came up like a carpet in the shade. Even better than in our sunnier areas. Note that we did use nutrient rich soil and topped with compost, and watered twice/day. We’ve never been so impressed and can’t wait to overseed our entire yard with this next year.

Premium seed that’s certified
I purchased this from their website but wanted to leave a review. I picked up this KBG as well as their dark matter fertilizer. I put the seed down last year and it did come in and looked nice but was not impressed. We are into the first real spring with this seed and it’s coming in unbelievably thick and dark. I put down the dark matter on march 24th and was dark dark green by May 1st. Grass is still waking up from winter and it’s the greenest it’s ever been this time of year. I am very happy with this seed so far. Germination does take some time, about 25 days.

Maybe not for MS.
Tilled then planted in Mississippi and honestly didn’t see much growth. Watered daily and seedlings grew an inch tall but thinned out. Didn’t take off like intended.

Great seed and dark
Great seed. Ended up pre germinating and it grew well it's also holding up well in the recent 100° weather. Will order more as it is significantly darker than the ace KBG seed I used before.
