Pro R1 Therapy Massager - Handheld Deep Tissue Vibration Massager

This devices incredible.i had previously bought the other name brand device that is 10 times the cost of this device and though it was good I just couldn't justify the price and sent it back. I then found this device and was a bit skeptical at first. I mean how could this device that does the same thing be 10 times less than the other one? I Figured it would be cheap flemsy and have no power,but boy was wrong. Though is is rated for less power than the more expensive device, you can't tell the difference at all, it has plenty of power. I even like this device better than the more expensive device for a few reasons. This device is smaller and lighter than the other device, it fits in hand better and doesn't fatigue your wrist or arm. The other device comes with 2 batteries and a charging dock but the batteries only lasted about 15 minutes and took 3 hours to charge, but not so with this device..it has battery built into it and charges via a usb-c cable.. the battery in this device lasts a very long time, I've used it for days, multiple times per day and yet to need charged. I have many other massage devices including percussion and this is the best of all of them, it really gets down to the soft tissue and feels amazing. I honestly can't believe the quality of this device fir the price, it is sturdy and well built, you can feel the quality. I would highly recommend this device to anyone, you won't regret it

It’s a very well made. It feels great. You will feel great after. And you won’t need to use it for hrs to feel great. Some chiropractors use it as well. I have had neck, shoulder and back surgery. If tried percussion and many massagers. I originally wanted the rapid release but it is expensive. This one is just like it. Fraction of the cost and get same results. Dont hesitate. Just get it. It was in my cart for a long time cause I was skeptical. I should have gotten it a long time ago. Go for it and get it. You won’t be disappointed

This device is awesome. I use it daily for muscle aches and pains, and my neuropathy. Loving having the relief it gives.

So what's so interesting about a massager? Well, let me tell you that this is the home version of the chiropractic $1400 unit. The difference? cost and a bit of size. The 1st one I bought died within 1 hour of total use. It started making loud noises from the head bearings and so I returned it and got another one immediately. #2 was much better and I have been using it for months now around 3 -4 times/week. I use it on my arthritic right shoulder and surprisingly, the action is such that it "hurts so good:. What I mean is that you can travel all over your body (watch out for just skin over bone areas..ouch!) and it will tell you what areas it will benefit you by just using it all over your body . If it hurts a bit, you know you have inflammation and you need to use this on it to get that painful inflammation to go away. I let my G.F. use it and she kept it so I had to buy myself another one. I don't think It's a "couple's toy" but a health benefit device.

Well made massage tool. Powerful and easy to use. I’m a massage therapist and use it on my clients often. It provides a good and fast release while being well tolerated by most people. I like the different heads and the fact that I don’t need to stop to change anything. It can be used with oil or over clothes. I find it easy to use on myself too. It holds charge for a long time. (I have only been using it for couple of months so far.) It’s well weighted, not too heavy - not too light) and thought it’s little noisy my clients don’t seem to mind. The sensation of the vibration feels relaxing and deep. The tool is well priced also. I would be happy to recommend this tool to professional body workers as well as for personal use.

My acupuncturist used this on me and I ran home and purchased it immediately, this is so much better than a massage gun, as a massage therapist, I know the damaged that be done to tissues and lymphatic systems, especially in older or more fragile bodies ... This does the work with no pain, no deep pulse, its very superficial but the speed makes it deep and much broader than the massage gun, gentle, feels amazing, safe and super effective... LOVE this and cant say enough about how good this is... stop looking , buy this

**Updated Review as of October 12, 2025 — HYAKO Pro R1 Max (After Extended Use)** As a personal trainer and coach, I initially had high hopes for the original HYAKO Pro R1 but ran into a few issues with durability over time. The great news is that HYAKO’s customer service was absolutely top-notch once I brought those concerns to their attention. They immediately reached out and offered to replace my unit with the upgraded R1 Pro Max, which was designed to address the very issues I mentioned in my first review. I’ve now been using the R1 Pro Max weekly for several months, and I purposely held off on updating this review to make sure it could hold up over time — and it absolutely has. The build quality is noticeably improved, the performance has been consistent, and the overall power of the unit is excellent. For context, I’ve been testing this side by side with a much more expensive competitor (Rapid Release), and the R1 Pro Max has held its own impressively well. In fact, when it comes to portability and self-use, the R1 Pro Max is actually more convenient. I’m very happy with this version of the product and can confidently say it’s worth recommending — especially for fitness professionals or active individuals who want a high-quality vibration therapy tool without spending over a thousand dollars. **Original review** As a personal trainer/Coach I was really hoping to like this and being able to recommend to clients that can’t withstand using the percussion guns. The product is good in the first few weeks of use but with more use the head gets looser the noise level raises. Retuned my first one (really good customer service) but replacement came and within a month of purposely lighter/limited daily use, the head started to separate from the body again and make a lot of noise. Unfortunately, can’t waste another $100+ USD on this again. I’ll see if I can return this one because do I like the vibration concept but if not I will probably look to spend a little more money on the rapid release brand since that I what I was introduced to by my chiro originally a few years ago when it was still $1,500 usd. Again it is really good for a couple of months or really light use. Battery is really good on this unit as well but at $100+ I can’t recommend for an avid user or gym goer.

This massager is excellent. I have an inflammation in my Achilles tendon and today after my flair up , I decided to use this massager and see if it actually works. So I did and I noticed , unlike the Thera gun that I have, this works more like the tens unit my physio therapist uses on me and my pain dropped down dramatically, apon use. Don't think, just buy. No regrets. None whatsoever.

Great hand held massager brought as a gift for my husband. If you like pressure this is great for you with extras included for different types of massage.

Use it daily. Comfortable to work with. . Arrived charged for immediate use. Good for overall body. Vibration easier on body than percussion massagers. Consider it an invaluable tool in my health toolbox.Have given it to adult children.they too are finding it very useful.
