The filter is very cheap. All the other parts were good.

Fuel filter is too small for original hose PLUS the 'Air Filter' is about a 1/4 thickness of original filter. No way would I use a piece of felt like that in such a critical area. I washed mine out with soap and water and hoping it is dry enough to re-use.

Repaired my saw at a fraction of the cost of taking to the dealer.

Excellent with the exception it had blockage. Easy fix with compressed air! I would still recommend this brand carburetor for your Sthil Saw.

Was missing a few of the parts that were supposed to be included. Luckily I was able to use the fuel line and spark plug to get my saw running again, and those parts worked as described. No customer support to reach out to, so no way to get air filter, and fuel filter that were supposed to be included. The carb included is not a direct replacement for the factory carb on the 018C or the older 180C as described. I did not end up fully installing the carb, but the port on the top would certainly interfere with the case if installed.

The carburetor is supposed to fit my still 017 chainsaw . How ever the top vent hit the I take and it will not work I took the top breather part off carb and made it work but didn’t work long. The saw had sat for years so I can’t say it was the carb or not honestly. How ever the difference between original and this one was why I gave three stars it wouldn’t fit.
