An excellent buy! Was worried as I wasn't buying from a games store, but I didn't need to worry. Works great and phone is stable - excellent value for money

It just works, quickly pairs with my Samsung S25 Utra and games and emulators that support external gamepads detect it, followed by happy gaming. I don't have to remove the phone's case either fir it to fit. The only downside is you can't charge your phone while using it. GameSir produce a cheaper version that the phone's USB C port plugs into but the connection is on the 'wrong' side so some games appear upside down which makes for a useless controller.

This controller works great with my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The overall construction is very solid and premium-feeling, especially with the magnetic faceplates and swappable joysticks. All buttons feel tactile and responsive, and the hall-effect joysticks are incredibly nice. The joysticks feel nicer and are more accurate than my other controllers, e.g., my PS5 controller. The controller has additional features, such as per-button turbo and digital rapid trigger. By "digital," I mean it doesn't physically change the trigger's stop position, but registers the trigger as fully pressed when only slightly pressed down. It has other features as well, and all features can be configured without the app via the M key. The vibration motors are also quite nice and feel very punchy/tactile without being loud. The app is also pretty good, but that is why I wouldn't rate it a 5-star product. The app needs some refinement. The mapping feature works quite well, but that is where I had the biggest issues. Notably, with the right stick mapping system that emulates screen swipes via the right stick to move the camera/crosshair in FPS games. I could not get this feature to work well enough to feel like I am using a normal gamepad; it felt weird and had a certain stutteriness to it. This seemed worse with higher refresh rate games (90-120 fps). But, of course, this is only an issue encountered when specifically using the remap mode to play touchscreen-only games with the controller. If the game supports a controller natively (most do nowadays on mobile), then expect a wonderful, native-feeling experience with no issues at all. This is also something that could be fixed in the future, as it is definitely an issue with the app/software mapping system, not the controller itself. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this controller. All the games I play support it natively, so I don't need the app at all. This controller also works for other devices like PC, Nintendo Switch, and any iOS platform, so it's versatile too! It could be the only controller you ever need again.

This controller is perfect for mobile gaming, the buttons, triggers and joysticks feel really good and satisfying to use and theres no noticeable latency. The battery life is good it lasts a quite a while before you need to charge it again (around 8 hours which for me is fine since i don’t usually have such long gaming sessions anyways) and it doesn’t take too long to fully charge either (around 2 hours). Its comfortable to hold in the hand after you get used to it, i mainly used a ps5 controller before this which feels really skinny in comparison but this still feels comfortable. The controller also has unsymmetrical joysticks which i thought would be annoying since I’ve never used a controller like that before but after using it for a bit you get used to it and it’s fine. The only issue with this controller is the weight, its fine when you’re sitting down and using it or if you have a table to support your arms but when you’re laying down on your back it can feel a little heavy especially depending on the phone you’re using it with. The controller itself does have batteries since it connects with bluetooth which makes the controller heavier than the base GameSir G8. It’s easy to switch the buttons and joysticks, the controller comes with 3 extra joysticks you can use to tailor the controller to your liking which is nice. For the price you get a very well rounded product and I would definitely recommend.

This is actually a really great product, the phone fits quite comfortably in the spring grip and I didn't notice any input lag at all on the bluetooth connection. It's easy to use, except the grip on the analogue sticks feels a tiny bit awkward. I only sent it back because I didn't find myself using it much, but that's a me problem, not a product problem

Got mine in January and worked perfect. However now that I'm on Android 15 it's a now no longer fit for purpose. Keeps continually disconnecting. Apparently it's a known issue with android 15 and numerous people have raised the issue with gamesir, who to date, have not fixed this. It's now an ornament until this gets fixed, if ever!

I've been wanting to do a bit of gaming in the evening but always find myself pulled away from the computer by something or other. I also have a few games on android I've been meaning to get to but I can't deal with on screen controls. Have tried xbox & PS4 controllers with clips before but it was never comfortable. This + Console Launcher + Moonlight / Sunshine are an epic combination. The gtouch stuff works well to emulate touch screen controls where necessary. The only one I've had an issue with is Oddmar since it claims to support native controller but just doesn't seem to work; I suspect it's just that game though. If I had to list any issues: - The status LED is too bright in a dark room and can't easily be dimmed - Since the G8 plus doesn't have power passthrough I needed to grab a 90 degree usb c adapter to be able to charge the phone while playing - The removable face plates are a bit of a gimmick atm since there are very few options to replace them

Es una gran compra, tenia dudas de comprarlo porque desconocia de la cálida de la marca. Pero no, el control da sensación caso premium. Todo se siente buen armado y solido. Lo compré principalmemte para emular DS y 3DS con una Lenovo Legio Tab 3 (cabe horizontal y vertical) , y funciona excelente. El que los botones puedan ser intercambiados ayuda mucho, ya que puedes ponerlos en formato Nintendo o Xbox. Lo recomiendo bastante.

Gamesir non si smentisce, ottimo prodotto in "quasi tutto". L'unico neo sta nella batteria. La batteria è divisa in due, una a destra una a sinistra, quando il controller è esteso si carica SOLO la parte destra, per poter caricare anche la sinistra bisogna chiudere il controller, ovvero sganciarlo dal telefono o tablet. E' sinceramente va a noia di non poterlo lasciare sempre agganciato, ok che è una operazione di qualche secondo, però per un controller top come questo è una feature che manca. Per il resto è tutto perfetto, dall'ergonomia, i trigger, i bumper, la presa, il fattore hall effect, nessun lag ecc.....

I will buy this controller forever! As long as gamesir stays dynamic like the controller industry itself, and always evolves along with the new feature sets being introduced as devices evolve, if they keep up with the times.. I’ll be here to buy. This is the best controller I’ve had. One controller for all my devices My iPad, My iPhone, My PC. I’m impressed by these ridiculous levels of compatibility, you only press two buttons to get it to sync with the device you want it to play on, it syncs insanely fast - I love it! I got rid of my wireless Xbox controller. I still can’t believe this controller exists. It feels real good in the hands, like it carries durability in its bones. Some nice weight to it, not heavy, not light.. your hands don’t get tired from holding it. I can tell, due to how it was designed, it has counter balance which allows you to play super long without that discomfort that comes from most controllers I have used, aside from this… It feels real premium in your hands, it’s a masterpiece in game controller design in my eyes. I never knew, I would fall in love with a game controller. (to me, that’s crazy) but here I am, in love actually reaching for this damn thing to put in my bag or take to bed (I’ve never actively and enthusiastically reached for a controller attachment to my devices) it was always in mind “that one more thing Inneed to carry” and since it fell in that mindset, I never reached out for them. This one though, the mindset is.. I love you, so I reach out for it. But, in my case.. every controller I’ve had prior to this G8+, was uncomfortable, because of how unergonomic they are (ever find yourself holding your controller above your head to play your games at times because of shoulder or arm discomfort?) Yea.. stuff like that is what I’m referring to, those game controller designers must had not taken into account everything attached to our hands (arms and shoulders) which leads to the fatigue and discomfort and now here you are, with the controller above your head, playing the game. Luckily, Gamesir G8+ designers figured this out. This controller has a good enough width from left to right, to where, it sits in the ergonomic comfort zone, meeting me.. exactly at my shoulder length (therefore, my shoulders are not hunching in when playing) My shoulders now naturally stay aligned when playing my games.. which is how it should be, not the other way around — compressed to accommodate the controller. Impressive design when I sat and thought about it. No controller I’ve had, had provided me this level of comfort (and I’ve had many controllers from all game consoles and many third parties) Playing while sitting down or laying down, both orientations are super comfortable. At first, my thumb kept hitting the right analog stick (since the buttons are placed above it) I thought this would be an issue. I am aware, I can remove the stick and put it back on later, but that becomes tedious real quick! Luckily, after playing awhile, my hands must have gotten used to the feeling? Because it no longer bothers me, like it did when I first started using it. I guess maybe one day or two of gaming, acclimated my sensory to accept it. Cool - we move on. I mostly play Fighting Games, Soul Calibur, Dark Souls, Pascals Wager, Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid, Fight Night. These are all intense several button engagements interactions… especially the fighter games.. The control does not lag, I have not experienced stick drift and the d-pad is SOLID! I’m impressed by the how instant it is. No lag. I have no idea what goodi they used, but this thing has no lag! I’m over here doing long combo strings and parrying attacks, with virtually any lag on a wireless controller. (Which is my way of playing) It’s very easy to use and set up. If you have issues just ask chat GPT, it will guide you. I had issues the first time (totally my fault) Insint do my usual (watch YouTube videos of setting up) So I failed to recognize that each device will get an existing game company platform (pseudo name) Shock 4, Pro Controller.. etc. so I was confused here. I expected it to say iPad, iPhone.. and in my confusion, somehow, someway, it was connecting my iPhone but connecting to my iPad, to fix it - long story short — (I had to ask chat gpt) it told me, I had to hold in the reset button in the bottom of the controller by the usb c, and this will reset the pseudo name and now your device will connect to it. This was the only issue I’ve had and it was my fault. Also if you find your controller doing rapid fire (which happens to me) just hold in the (m button) on the bottom left and it will turn off all the rapid fire. I somehow must be turning out rapid fire at times when I’m playing my fight games since my fingers Al over the place with the combos. This controller is a masterpiece! There’s a reason it’s hitting on YouTube reviews. Buy it, enjoy it, watch YouTube videos to know how to connect it on first try and not have issues on like me.

Works as advertised. I use this controller every day, has a very long battery life. fits an iPhone 15 perfectly, connects with bluetooth with no issues. Feels like a quality product, buttons are very satisfying to press (though can be clicky/loud which is either satisfying or annoying depending on your style) At first there was a mild input lag, by downloading the app have fixed this and no problem since. By following a youtube tutorial with no previous modding experience, I easily modded this in less than 1 hour to extend even further to fit my iPad 9. I can now steam link to a 10.2" iPad screen :)
