Origin review: These are good trimmers I purchased for pruning my house plants and they work great. however, you have to take the locking mechanism off or they will stick closed every time you make a cut.Updated: These trimmers are great. The company sent me a pair with the new style latch. The new style doesn't have the same latch issue. I am still using the original pair. These last great.

I bought these shears to see how they would compare to my Joyce Chen kitchen shears for us in a jewelry application. I cut sheet metal (silver, copper and brass sheet) with my Chen scissors and they do that very well. I liked the longer handles these LDK shears had and thought they would give me a little more leverage for cutting. So far, they are doing the job. I hope they hold up over time.

Excellent sharp little trimmers. Great for getting into tight spots on tender plants. Lock is a bit fiddly but no an issue.

Great Product, Came in a timely manner for shipping international, and I was VERY HAPPY with the quality and craftsmanship of the product.

I like to use needle nose clippers when deadheading but these are useless. They don't reopen automatically when you clip something. I have tried oiling them, working them over and over, and they still stick when in the closed position. It has nothing to do with the safety clip one slides up when the scissors are not in use. I am really disappointed. I have thrown away any packing material and the receipt so I don't think I can send them back.
