Permanent Vacation Audio

Though this album received very little radio air time, it is a "must have" for any true Aerosmith fan. As usual Steven Tyler tickles the mind with some unbelievably deep "words"- instrumentally excellent, this is a gem for Aerosmith fans. The more you listen, the more you hear. I think they were all hovering in or near sobriety, and after the extremes they lived, it amazes me they survived- much less can still write such thought provoking, excellent rock-n-roll. To ride the razors edge and count the eyes of a dragon fly...guaranteed to entertain. Buy this CD, you won't be sorry!

Gotta admit that at first was a bit skeptical about a used vinyl .. When it arrived....Wow...the disc is in excellent condition....all songs play well and the packaging in very good condition. Thank you very much. Will definitely repeat business.

Driving Aerosmith into their second career this hard rock thirst quencher spurts out a couple of instant classics of the genre. Rag Doll and Dude (Looks Like A Lady) are pretty much spot on the way they encapsulate the musical definition of a good time. Elsewhere we get the band really entertaining their love of the blues - a love they took to it's logical conclusion approximately 20 years later with Honkin' On Bobo. The band also dishes up some ballads and while that probably makes many fans cringe as they think of the heritage ruining ballads of the 90's lets be fair about it, Angel from this album may stink but Tyler does have a great plaintive tone to his voice and not all ballads are evil. The rest of the band sound on song too and the production is pretty much perfect for the time and the genre. Tunes can breath and the simple knob job allows the music to shine through. I have to subtract a star as not all of this hits the spot such as some of the lengthier blues/weird stuff sections in songs like the title track. Also the cover of The Beatles I'm Down is neither great nor a great choice. Still beats U2's Helter Skelter! And what's goin' on with the final track `The Movie'? But these issues are forgivable given the song writing and musical talents of the band. And as stated above, this thing hatched at least two juke box necessities. So four stars IMHO.

Fantastic record! With hits that are classics now! If you are an Aerosmith fan -than you have to own this LP in your collection!

Loved it for years, the album that touched of the revival of the band and quality of their music. Doing it with one of their best albums is a great way (and back then it was an album!).

Arrived well on time and in the shape described by the seller. Worked fine in my CD player. It plays a bit quiet, but that's more a reflection on the manufacturer than the seller.

This was most likely just the seller, but item came in what I would consider "acceptable" condition when it was listed as "good". Great album, though.
