Great product. Relatively easy to install but I did need some extra plumbing components for my particular setup. I have one installed for the drip irrigation and one for a sprinkler system on the lawn. Once installed (properly) no leaks at all. Connects to the hub relatively easy - though note the range can be quite poor so you’ll need to consider for long distance some form of repeater (which is possible through some Google searches!). Overall great value for money, mine have done 1 year now with no problems at all!

Had real trouble trying to connect the zigbee bridge and water valve to network. I went into my wifi router settings, disabled 5ghz wifi, back to eWeLink app. Zigbee bridge connected and found the water valve itself, also linked to Alexa very easily. P.S. I then went back into my wifi router settings and enabled 5ghz. So now both 2.4ghz and 5ghz are active (as some devices in the home run on either 2.4 or 5). Valve works great! Brilliant product.

Pretty impressed so far. Had issues with initial set up to the point i was ready to return it but once i figured those out all was and is good. Working in home assistant with zigbee2mqtt so no need for a hub if you already have one for HA. I would share my set up issues and fixes but as with a lot of things smart home the fix was simple and quickly forgotten.

Garbage!!!! Dont touch it!!!!! App dosnt connect connect. No support!! And then they will tell you to buy another add on tobmake it work, I could build a custom made for that money and energy spent on this none sense.

I’ve been running two SONOFF SWV-BSP smart irrigation timers since June 2025 (so ~8 months at time of writing) to replace a basic battery Hozelock timer, and they’ve been excellent. As they live outside I was a bit concerned about battery performance (especially in colder weather), but I’ve had no issues. Both are integrated into Home Assistant via ZHA and have been stable and responsive for automations. The only “setup” wrinkle was Zigbee signal reliability through an exterior wall from my coordinator - solved by plugging a Zigbee router (I used an IKEA TRETAKT socket) on the inside of the wall. Since doing that, they’ve been completely reliable. For Home Assistant users who want proper automation control over garden watering, these have been a great buy.

Disappointing experience during holiday. The device worked perfectly for about two weeks before my trip, but on the second day of my holiday it lost connection to the hub—right in the middle of a heatwave. This completely ruined the benefit of having it while away. On the plus side, installation was straightforward and, when connected, it performed well, which is why I’ve given it 3 stars instead of lower. However, reliability is the most important feature for me, and unfortunately it let me down when I needed it most.

Amazing value. Build quality feels good. Super easy to set up. It can measure watering flow although that will only show only with the right hub/app. It's stubborn when it comes to connecting through Zigbee routers, but I haven't had any control issues because of that so far.

Really easy to connect up and use. Slow valve so no horrible hammer issues.

Very reliable and economic

Testuję ten zawór od kilku godzin na ogródku (sparowany z ZB Bridge-P) i całkiem fajnie działa. Np. przy zasilaniu z sieci wodociągowej po ustawieniu limitu na 10L nalewa około 0.5 litra więcej, ale trzeba ograniczyć ciśnienie żeby miał czas na reakcję. Podłączałem go też do pompy studziennej i również dobrze mierzy przepływ. Niestety w schemacie scen Ewelink nie ma w tej chwili możliwości wyzwolenia akcji stanem on/off więc może być kłopotliwe sterowanie pompą, gdy się go w ten sposób zasila. Na razie nie zauważyłem innych mankamentów :)

Ottimo prodotto. Si aggancia facilmente alla rete zigbee, ha un'ottima ricezione e funziona come dovrebbe. Per chi, come me, usa un hub domotico come Home Assistant, è stato riconosciuto senza problemi da Zigbee2MQTT, con l'esposizione di tutte le varie entità, che possono poi essere controllate dal sistema.

El programador de riego SONOFF Zigbee funciona a la perfección y se integra sin ningún inconveniente con Home Assistant mediante Zigbee. La configuración es sencilla y rápida, y hasta ahora no me ha dado ningún problema en su funcionamiento. Es una opción muy práctica para automatizar el riego del jardín o las macetas, con la ventaja de poder controlarlo desde el ecosistema domótico sin necesidad de aplicaciones externas. La conexión Zigbee asegura estabilidad y bajo consumo, lo que lo hace aún más conveniente. En definitiva, un dispositivo fiable y fácil de usar, ideal para quienes ya trabajan con Home Assistant y buscan una solución simple y efectiva para gestionar el riego de manera inteligente.
