I have always used bouillon cubes because that is what I grew up using. Nothing was better than a hot mug of bouillon, especially when I wasn't feeling well. It has only been in the past few years that I started using stock and bone broth! I have only tried a few brands of bone broth and some of them were just terrible. They didn't have that meaty chicken or beef flavor that I was looking for. The Bare Bones grass fed bone broth has a very rich beef flavor with just the right amount of saltiness. The consistency of the bone broth is pretty comparable to regular stock. You can use what you need and freeze the rest if you don't plan on using it again right away. I like to freeze it in ice cube trays so that it is convenient and ready to use. This bone broth is wonderful for soups, stews, and vegetables. It kicks up the flavor a bit and gives the dish a meatier taste that we all love! I absolutely LOVE that it isn't over salted. Unlike many commercial broth products, this contains somewhat less sodium. So, I can feel comfortable using my own seasonings and flavorings in whatever dish I am making! The saltiness doesn't overpower the flavor. This is definitely much more premium than your average mainstream grocery store brand!

I received the package and tasted the first container and it was delicious. I do think there are other more comparable items in quality and flavor. But it could be priced better. Alternative option is to make your own.

If you love bone broth, the taste, the many health benefits, then this is right up your alley. Yes, it’s quite a gasp to look at the price tag, but bone broth IS expensive, so I don’t know, as I didn’t do any price comparisons, if you’re pricy to bone broth & use it a lot, you’d know the value of this set here. Keep in mind that I’m not an expert there. I’m new to it, although when trying conceive after 40, I bought some for its supposed fertility boosting. It has a lot of helpful benefits for the body, and I’ve only ever heard good things about it. I made a recipe last night using this broth & it turned out great. No complaints from the kiddos either. That’s a rare occurrence 😂 . Got this to try out, and see if it was any good. The price was a little steep, likely due to it being, Grass-fed, but I thought maybe I'll test it out? Any ways, I got to try this out with both Beef Ramen Noodles (I like making them in the big pot for the family sometimes), chili, and Beef Stew. Compared to the cheap stuff at Krogers or Wal-Mart I normally get, this Broth was on another Level. It enhanced the flavor of all three dishes I've made with it, and even left me wanting more of it. Highly likely to be buying more in the near future. On that end, I'd say if you have the money for this Broth, I would HIGHLY recommend this product to at least try once. You may even come back for more! Aside from that, the delivery was faster than I was originally anticipating as well. None of the Cartons of Broth came in damaged, and it was all packaged pretty well, so you shouldn't have to worry about potential leaks or busted open ones. Fair warning for anyone going to try these, they have a STRONG beef flavor. If you dislike Beef, you may not want this. Of course, if you like Beef, or even love Beef, then yes, get some. Great stuff and highly likely to purchase again!

The broth is a very good quality, but the taste is not very good at all. Does not hold a candle to Kettle and Fire as far as taste.
