If you demand perfection in a rod, well, you just found it!
This rod is the finest rod I have ever used. It has a very stiff backbone, (strong), but it will cast until tomorrow, and is so perfectly accurate, I can send my lure as far as I want and place it at the exact spot I want. I put a KastKing Assassin on it, and had to use my fishing pliers to get it tightly on the rod. I guess the Assassin has a small foot. That's the only negative thing I can say about the rod. I haven't changed out reels to see if another one fits better, because I'm having the time of my life with this set-up. The end of the rod is so sensitive I can feel and see when a fish even bumps my lure. I never miss a fish with this rod, it is so amazing! Distance, accuracy, strength, and sensitivity are what I look for in a rod, and this baby excels in all categories! I have $200 rods that don't even come close to the perfection of this rod. I have told all of my fishing friends about this rod and even let some of them fish with it, (for only a short time, of course), and without exception, they are all going to order one. I'm going to order a 2nd one for me next month. The length is perfect, to keep strength at the base, but still retain sensitivity at the tip. The guides are smooth, the grip is super comfortable, and it is a good looking rod also. Awesome customer service, and awesome rods!
Hi Juli!Good news. I’ve finally been able to get out and do some fishing and use my Entsport Camo baitcast and spinning rods. To say the least, I am very impressed with them, and more than happy with them. Not only are they beautifully crafted, other anglers are quick to notice the good looks and fit and finish of these rods. I love that you can buy these rods in 3 and 4 piece configurations, which gives the angler the option of moderate/medium, medium heavy, and heavy actions from one rod. This allows me to quickly change the rod action to handle a wide variety of lure and line weights. AND! Once the rod is together with your choice of tips, the fit is so good, and the join so good that you can’t even tell the rod is two pieces. Amazing. These rods are so light it’s like fishing with Air Jordon! I have so far fished them with Shimano Stradic CI-4+ and Cadence CS8 reels in 2500 and 3000 size, as well as baitcast reels like the ABU Garcia Revo Max, etc., and what a wonderful, light and powerful combination they make. I very much like the design of the reel seat/lock on these rods. Not only is the design beautiful, but the lock has an audible detent that clicks as you tighten up on the reel, and this also keeps the reel seat tight where you have set it. No loosening of the reel as you fish!Lastly, I should mention the case these rods come with. It’s a good looking camo case that is quality made which includes an inner liner that holds 3 or 4 rod pieces and protects them from cosmetic damage. Realistically, if I wanted to go out and buy a rod case like the ones that come with the Entsport rods, it would probably cost me as much as the rod costs! I really like that I can keep spare tips, etc. safely in my boat or kayak, and quickly make changes for fishing conditions as needed. All is all I am very pleased with these Entsport rods. AS you probably know, I bought 3 each of the spinning and baitcast rods before I’d ever had a chance to actually fish with them. I have been very impressed with the level of customer service you have provided. Although I have had no issues with my rods (only my health) you have been eager to resolve any and all issues I may have. It’s nice to do business with a company that puts customer service and satisfaction ahead of all else.In closing I just want your readers to know that I’m not someone who doesn’t have a deep working knowledge and experience with fishing rods and tackle. I’ll be 73 next month. I caught my first fish at age 4, and have been hooked ever since. I was a rabid angler all my life, and when I began my career as a professional fishing guide down in SW Florida in the 80s, I had 69 rods in my closet. Only God knows how many rods I’ve owned over the decades, but I’ve owned many St. Croix Legends, G Loomis, and other brands, and paid a fortune for them. I wish you guys had been around with these great rods decades ago. When I pick up one of my Entsports and cast it, and look at the quality, I feel downright foolish for having spent $300 to $500 for rods in years gone by.Let me know if you want me to post this note somewhere, or if you want to post it now that you have it. Sorry it has taken me so long to do the review on your great rods, but because of health issues I was not able to get out on the water. I didn’t want to post reviews of your rods based on catching grass bass in the back yard!!Thanks for your patience!Capt. Butch RickeyThe BarHopp’R

Very surprised
I have had this rod for a few months now. I have caught many bass with it. One was a 21 in small mouth in a river. Its now one of my favorite rods.I would definitely buy another one. I was pleasantly surprised for a price point rod.

Wouldn't count on this rod
Pretty disappointed. Just realized this pole didn't even last a year. I caught a few fish with this rod (hindsight 20/20, "luckily" they were small). I liked the look and feel/action of this rod while it lasted. But, the other day, I got snagged. Not the first time, no big deal...but, when you've got only 8 lb test on, and are barely pulling when the rod snaps - it makes you wonder what went wrong. It hasn't been banged around a whole lot, I've kept it in a stand when I wasn't using it...I decided to try repairing it, might still be useful for panfishing. I put it back together with some epoxy I had, not really expecting it to work. After it set for 24 hours, I decided to give it a bit of a test bend, fully expecting it to break where I had repaired it. The repair held up fine - but the rod snapped again in a completely different area. I've found deals on better rods before - this discount rod was disappointing.

gorgeous
I think the rod is actually quite pretty. I have a few high end rods that are 3-4 times the cost of this pole. The reel seat is incredibly sturdy and fits properly, paired with Okuma Calera it is incredibly comfortable. The line guides were very well inline with the reel causing minimal friction.A BIG PLUS to the seller Sportmall. They handle business promptly and professionally. I've had high end rods break under basic stress and had low end rods do the same. Sometimes its a flaw in the blank rarely is it a flaw in the entire assembly. I fish a tleast a few times a week and put my equipment through it's paces. I opted to exchange the pole because I really liked the rod as is and it's aesthetics. I would expect the same service from Diawa, Phenix, shimano, and Abu Gracia. All of which I have had and broken, only one was prompt with replacement and warranty.Do not mistake my honesty about the rod breaking as saying this is a cheap rod. Yes, cost wise it is. When you see it and feel it, it's more than what you are paying for.
