Definitely measure your fitting before purchasing. I thought I had and it ended up being the wrong size, but the whole kit was really great quality, I didn't want to send it back because I wasn't finding anything similar that I could guarantee was the actual right size and thread. Instead, I used one of the couplers that came with the kit, lopped the end off of my existing hose, and threaded it into the hose and tightened it down with a hose clamp. Now I have a hose that's twice as long, which is excellent. The coupler mated perfectly with this kit, and everything worked out great!

This is a fantastic accessory to my portable rechargeable tire inflator. The hose that came with my compressor is too short to make it convenient to use during a roadside emergency. This longer hose allows me to easily set the compressor down onto the ground regardless of where the valve stem ends up. In addition, the air release valve allows me to precisely inflate my tires to the desired pressure by the commonly used technique of over-inflating by 1 or 2 psi then releasing air to the exact desired pressure. Although my portable compressor has an automatic shutoff when it reaches your set pressure, I have found that it tends to over-inflate the tire slightly, which makes the air bleed valve on this hose an incredible convenience. Because of the standard fittings (it also comes with a variety of other adapters and attachments), it screws right into my compressor without any need for adapters and without any leaks. The hose itself is very flexible, but seems like it will hold up to heavy use due to its reinforced braided surface. I also like that the valve stem attachment utilizes a latch (much for convenient than a screw on type) especially since it attaches more easily (especially when the lighting is not so good) and leaks much less air when disengaging. Another plus is that the latch is made of metal rather than plastic (after years in the hot trunk of my car, I have had some plastic ones fracture at the most inopportune times. Definitely a 5 star item for a reasonable price.

Pro:Durable product.Extended length of hose.Blocker: Hose cannot replace existing shorter hoses that comes with air compressors or similar devices. Because hose does not seal on male-end allowing air to leak out.Suggestions:Include rubber o-ring on male-end of hose to seal when screwing into device(s).Work-Around: Visit hardware store (brick or online) and purchase o-ring.

I’ve only used this once since buying it, but it looks decently made and it worked, which is more than can be said for many products these days.

I purchased a cordless compressor for my bicycles. The twist-on twist-off connector that came with the compressor would cause the tire to lose pressure during removal. Upgrading to the snap on/off connector solved that problem and was a huge upgrade to the portable compressor.

Perfect fit, screwed right into our portable air compressor's hose and has a much better 90 degress elbow connector vs. the straight screw on connector on the end of our compressor's hose. Great quality, again fits perfectly!!!
