Good Grips Mini Complete Grate & Slice Set

These little graters pack a punch. They are easy to store right in my utensil drawer. The grater comes out and rests in the top part to catch cheese, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, whatever and then you have little slots they go back into the base and the top clicks back on and you can put it away. I find myself using these significantly more than either my handheld grater which requires a bowl or my kitchenaid grater attachment (lots of extra steps for this so it ends up not being used unless I have a large quantity of food to grate). If I want to grate cheese I whip it out. I have committed to not buying pre shredded cheese because of the extra stuff they put on it to keep it from sticking together and this little device has made that commitment much easier. Actually cheese blocks are seemingly less expensive than pre-shredded, require less packaging (better for environment) and tastes significantly better. I also love to shredded carrots and purple cabbage in my salads and sliced cucumbers. I was afraid to use a mandolin for a while because I cut my hand horribly on one many years ago but these attachments are east to swap out (no touching blades) and there is a little grip for the veggies so you are really not at risk for that if you are careful. I also store the mandolin attachment in its plastic bag mostly out of paranoia but hey you probably would too if you saw a piece of your thumb on the counter one time. Overall a great item and it gives me confidence in oxo products

I needed to replace my really old metal grater as it started to rust. I wanted something more compact and found this. It’s perfect - enough different sized graters, easy and compact storage, and the best part is that the cover also works as a container for what’s being grated - saving on mess.

Love this grate and slice set! I tossed my big box grater and don’t miss it. The mandolin slicing blade is perfect when I don’t want to get out my big slicer. Blade are sharp, easy to use, love the built in measuring device and easy to clean. Great product!

I really like these cheese/veggie graters, and am please with the purchase overall. 2 minor things could be improved - the curved edge of the graters is on the wrong side! Or maybe both sides should be curved, so when you push the cheese against the grater, the curved end of the grater is held by the container and does not slip. The second "improvement" is, I think they could be smaller and still be super effective. I live in an RV, and was looking for something small for my small available space. These are smaller than most, so I am not completely dissatisfied, but would have preferred smaller. I love they have a container to hold the parts together, and the container seals should you choose to store what you grated. LOVE it! Grater is sharp and effective, no problems. Easy to clean, and no mess grating because of the fitted grating container. Good quality. Good price. Just what I needed (even if it could have been smaller) ;0)

This seemingly little kitchen accessory is one of the best kitchen purchases I have made in years. The Mandoline is so much easier and safer to use than my full-size stainless “fancy” Mandoline, it really works so well. Easy to handle the food you’re slicing and the little gripper really works. The shredder is also great - very efficient and easy to use, and the little collection cup keeps things gathered and makes the unit stable. I probably get more use out of this than any other kitchen gadget I have.

I wanted this to replace several other tools that I have in the kitchen. Unfortunately it's not quite as sturdy as some of the other OXO tools that I have on hand. It has a compact design for storage. Handy for shredding/ slicing and catching your items directly below. I will use it, it is just a little too small to replace a normal sized cheese grater.

Very convenient for slicing and shredding! Doesn't take up much space and works better then any shredders in the past. Easy to handle and catches the shredded and sliced veggies in the compartment.

Nicely made, sturdy grater with neat storage. I went for the smaller one and it’s perfect for my needs. No cheap but it looks like it will last and it’s easy to store.

I got fed up with the big, awkward shaped aluminum grater sitting in the cupboard taking up loads of room when I only occasionally use it. I have limited storage space in my tiny kitchen, and this mini-grater set is perfect. Not only is each grater the ideal width for comfortable grating, but the size of the holes is perfect too. Being able to grate into the lid helps to minimize waste and mess on the bench, although it works just as well grating directly into wherever it's needed, and it's easy enough to hold on to as you grate. The slicer has been a bit of a bonus - I bought the set only for the graters, but have found the slicer is the tool I use the most. The slicer is quite sharp and slices cucumber like a breeze. I did try to slice a chorizo sausage once, but the grater didn't do so well with that. And if all that wasn't enough, it all comes in a a compact container that fits easily in a drawer or packs away tidily in the cupboard. I wouldn't normally want to pay so much for a kitchen tool, but it has been worth every dollar for the convenience and tidy storage. It's been a really useful tool, and well worth the investment. Highly recommended.

De set op zich werkt heel prettig, maar 1 rasp is dus binnen 4 maanden stuk. Zeer teleurgesteld.
