Nice fitting iems.
I have always had issues with every iem coming with tips that are way too massive to he comfortable, and have to end up buying tips that actually fit. These come with tips amthat are small enough to fit well, even if you have smaller ears. They sound great and fit great. Mic quality isn't the best but is still pretty good for a budget iem. Use these as my dedicated work iems for their comfort for long meetings and their mic which manybof my other iems don't have. The case is also nice, it's cheap, but works great and love the addition to a budget pair like these.

Great V-shape budget IEM
Great value for the money; Treble is maybe a hair forward. Bsss is clean and present without being overdone, but slightly splattering on Self Love and a little muddy on GTIG. Slight occlusion effect with silence. Good reproduction and detail; a tiny bit of warble on the treble on some tracks. Good right-to left soundstage, no rotation. Great male vocals, female too. Both stand out with the mids and have correct timbre. Layer seperation is good, not great.I really like the ways these look, with the unconventional transparent shell They feel like cheap plastic, and the cable is strangely plasticky if reasonably nicely braided for this price point. Overall, nice unit for $20.

Budget-friendly IEMs with light V-shaped sound signature
The Truthear Gate IEMs are budget-friendly in-ear monitors priced around $20. They feature a 10mm dynamic driver with a carbon LCP diaphragm. I feel these have a comfortable fit, good tonal balance (aligned with Harman target tuning), and clean sound quality. While not exceptional in technical performance, they are should be considered a solid choice for their price range. The Truthear Gate IEMs have a light V-shaped sound signature. This means they offer a slight emphasis on the bass and treble regions, while maintaining a relatively neutral midrange. The sub-bass is enhanced, adding depth and a touch of fun, while the midrange remains clean and spacious with a hint of brightness in the upper mids. The treble is inoffensive, providing clarity and detail without being harsh. Here's a breakdown:- Driver: 10mm dynamic driver with a carbon LCP diaphragm.- Sound Signature: Light V-shaped, with enhanced sub-bass, clean mids, and smooth treble.- Frequency Response: 10 Hz to 45 kHz.- Impedance: 28Ω, making them easy to drive.- Sensitivity: 122 dB, ensuring good volume levels even with low-power sources.- Build: Clear acrylic faceplates with a lightweight design for comfort.- Cable: Detachable 2-pin 0.78mm OFC cable.- Accessories: Includes six pairs of silicone eartips and a vinyl carrying pouch. The Truthear Gate IEMs are a budget-friendly option with a solid set of features and performance. I feel they have a good clarity and detail retrieval, though the treble can feel slightly dry, and the lower mids may lack some body.

Great first IEM
I'm very pleased with the sound of these iems. Spatial effects are surprisingly good and frequency response is balanced. A tiny bit of bass added, 1.5-2.0db and these sound great. Super cheap great sounding iems with a case and a great cable and plenty of sizes for ear buds. 💯💯

Terrible customer service for a really good product
The headphones are great for the price range. Good sound quality, and decently well made. Had an issue with my first pair after about 2 months of use where the mic controls started malfunctioning. Volume going up and down, pausing and starting media unexpectedly, and intermittent loss of sound in the right headphone. Reached out to the Truthear support team 2 times and never got a response back even though there's supposed to be a 1 year limited warranty. The product itself I'd give a 5* rating for the price. Since customer service couldn't even send an automated response they get 1*. So overall 3*.

End Game on a Budget
Ok, that may be a little too much hype, but for under $20 we have a single DD IEM that can deliver solid bass, soothing mids, and decent treble without demanding high-end equipment or a day's worth of wages. For a large portion of the casual, non-audiophole customer base I would be hard pressed to find anything that would call for someone to NOT pick these up.Are they perfect? No - poorly recorded tracks will sound worse, certain genres may fall a bit short in the clarity and detail department, and some may find the bass a bit too pronounced. The build is, admittedly, cheap looking, but you won't be looking at these. The only concern I have is the robustness of the build as these are molded plastic shells. But hot dang! If you're looking to see what the hype is with IEMs you could do much worse than to start with these. Like I said, most folks would consider these as good as it gets.

It's alright
Good enough for a $20 piece, but needs more bass and less treble. If you are comfortable with EQing, the box comes with a FR graph that you can use to base your EQ off of to improve the sound.

Great, better than expected
LOVE these! They sound as good as some brands twice the price. You can hear top, midrange and bass notes clearly, no distortion and no running together, even at top volume. The fit in my ear so well I can sleep in them (and I sleep on my side). They also give you several ear bud sizes to choose from. I am pleasantly surprised and highly recommend them.
