I do a lot of work with bikes, and often come across lots or rusty bolts, cassettes, chains, derallieurs etc. This stuff works wonders. It doesn't do 100% of all my goods, but i'd say about 98% comes out great, sometimes depending on the metal, it turns it black. But if its chrome, its brilliant. Its happened on a couple of chains, turned the links black, but on some silver chains it's fine. I recently did some files which again worked great but they turned black, but who cares, they are files, and do the job whatever colour they are. Would I say worth the money?.......All day long. 5 litres of this stuff is likely to last me a lifetime, and its apparently Eco friendly. I'm off to try some drill bits now.

Having read good reviews on-line and seen the success on YouTube,, I purchased a couple of containers and gave it a go. The items have to be submerged in the solution and I've found that agitating them regularly and rubbing over the surface with your fingers helps to speed things up a little. I've found it to be very good and it does indeed remove the rust back to bare metal within around 24 hours with no visible damage to the item being de-rusted. I have used the solution multiple times and it continues to work well. Once it eventually runs out of de-rusting capacity, I will definitely get some more. Since this is a solution and the items need dunking into it, its not ideal for larger items. Tests against gel product shows that this seems to work far better than they do. To conserve the amount of fluid needed during de-rusting, I've used empty 1.5L fizzy drink plastic bottles, buckets and even drain pipe with a stopper on the end as containers, so think laterally about how you will submerge the item whilst using the smallest amount of solution possible. Some people advise to put sealed containers containing water in the vat to raise the level in an inexpensive manner.

This is an amazing product. My partner has used it to remove rust from his 12 year old Evo X. It will remove rust from parts in literally a couple of hours. Hes a very happy man!

I actually haven't unpacked this flagon of Evaporust yet but that doesn't stop me from giving a review. That's because I previously bought a One Litre flagon to try out. It's not cheap but It worked so well that I'm now confident it will be cost-effective to use it on some larger items, that is why I then bought the One Gallon size.

I was sceptical having tried many products but not only is this reusable (until its too brown) but safe and removed really heavy rust from my tools.

This is very good for removing rust and crud. The great thing is that it doesn’t affect rubber or neoprene seals etc.

Best stuff I’ve used that’s safe on paint. Expensive but worth it cause you can strain it and re-use it

It be working and it be working good. I work in a place where i might uncover rusty or decrepit tools. This works wonders on them. Imagine a barren wasteland with nothing but sand and dirt and you find an adjustable wrench covered in rust. I managed to reclaim a few using this.

国内品色々試してましたが、綺麗に錆びが落ち切らず何度も漬け置きしたり、酸・アルカリの刺激臭・異臭がしたり、 直接触れない物だったりと扱いが面倒なの上に、錆びが落とし切れず結局後で散々研磨したりしていました。 Evapo-RustははYoutubeのHand Tool Rescueという古い工具をレストアするチャンネルで使用されており、綺麗に錆 が落ちていたので試しに購入してみました。赤鯖だらけになったネジやに黒錆になっているドライバやニッパとかの工 具を試して見ましたが数時間～二晩漬け置きしておけば殆ど錆が落ちます。動画で見た通りの使用感でした。 酷い錆は錆びてた箇所に若干シミが残りますがワイヤーブラシで磨けば落ちる程度だったので試してはいませんが漬け て置く時間をもっと延ばせば落ちるような気がします。 液は酸やアルカリを含まないので素手で触れても大丈夫です。匂いはちょっと癖のある薬品臭がしますが私はそれ程嫌 な臭いには感じませんでした。同社のジェルタイプも同時購入して使用しましたがこっちの方は液体の匂いを濃縮した ようなキツイ匂いです。ジェルタイプはアルミの錆にも使えるのと大きくて漬け置き出来ない物や垂直面に塗っても垂れにくく、効果は液体タイプと遜色ありませんでした。 液体・ジェルタイプどちらも水洗いしただけでは金属光沢までは蘇らず表面にうっすらとくすんだ膜みたいな物が形成 されているので、水洗いして乾燥させた後にワイヤーブラシ等で軽く磨いてやる必要はあります。 漬け置き後に水洗いしなければくすんだ膜が防錆剤としての効果を維持してくれる様です。 ルーターに真鍮製のブリストルブラシやカップブラシを付けて軽く磨く程度で楽に金属光沢が出てきます。 値段は高めですが一回使用の使い切りでは無く、錆落としの効果が無くなるまで繰り返し使用が可能なのでトータルで 見ればコスパは良いと思います。 大き目のジャムの空き瓶に小分けして繰り返し使用してます。使用する度に液はだんだん錆び色に濃く染まりますが、 数回程度使用した位では効果が薄れたような感じは全くありませんでした。

We’ve been using this to clean up some old rusty tools and hardware on furniture (screws, handles, etc.), and I’m so impressed! The fact that you can reuse it, is a major bonus. Ordered from Australia, and would definitely do so again. Best de-rusting product I’ve found yet.

Great help

It works by chelation so there are no caustic acids or VOCs. And it works incredibly well. I've used it for a few years now and have thrown away my Navy Jelly and all other rust removers. It's simple, safe, reuseable, and gets into all the nooks and crannies to completely remove rust. Really awesome stuff.
