This was a good battery replacement for my wife’s phone. Easy to install and replace.

I purchased this battery as a replacement for my Motorola One 5g Ace phone battery that had begun to swell up, pushing the case apart. It was a direct fit replacement for the original battery. T-Mobile would not replace the battery and was insisting that I swap my phone for a replacement. I've done that a couple of times in the past, but always end up losing data, programs, and photos when I get the new phone. I saw a video on YouTube on how to replace the battery, and decided to do it myself this time. I purchased a heating pad and replacement double sided tape, and easily installed this battery in my phone by following the online instructions. At first, this battery seemed to take a VERY LONG TIME to recharge, but with time and a few recharging cycles, it has started rapid charging like the original battery. The best part for me was that I got to keep my original phone and didn't lose any data, programs, and photos like I would if I replaced the entire phone. If you have some basic technical skills, you will be able to replace your own battery too using the step by step instructions. Everything was a direct replacement right down to the cable location and plug.

So, my phone's case on the back had cracked and was bulging out. I thought I must have broken the protective case from a drop. Nope. My battery was bulging so much it broke it. I'm not a real fan of Lithium Ion batteries. Especially when they design a phone to be disposed of rather than make the design right for replacing the battery. We got the protective gear, tools, and this battery, and changed it out. The phone's power issues are good to go. I know my model of phone is known to cause the battery to lose the ability to maximize power over time. So, the result of this new battery is a nice refreshing reminder of how it used to be when I first got the phone. I've also cracked the uncrackable screen 3 different times. I'm considering repairing that as well, next....

The installation is not super easy but YouTube gives some great videos on how to do it. The battery life doesn't seem as good as the original. For the price it's not bad. Motorola One 5g ace is the phone I replaced the battery on. I will update this once I have had it a few weeks in the phone.

The battery is good and came with a charge on it. I was able to power up my phone with no issues. It keeps a charge fairly well during the day but depends on how much I'm using the phone too. It does recharge fast. The tool kit was mainly useless for me. I only used the one small screwdriver, the plastic pieces were no good for prying or opening the phone back. One was too flimsy and the others were too thick. The adhesive strip folded up on itself upon removing from the backing so I couldn't use one of them.
