Venture Ready Pack 26L

The bag is exactly what I wanted, it opens fully for modular packing, perfect without all the pockets to stuff things in and forget about. It is comfortable, I have used it trekking through airports and I walk to work 20 minutes each way...

Could be great. A little bit smaller than I had thought but I loved the various pockets and could make the size work. But there is no side handle which makes it extremely hard to slide this on and off your luggage handle. It’s awkward to grip and when trying to stow luggage or get into the car I dropped it a few times. Deal breaker for what is otherwise a great produt

Great bag with a slightly smaller capacity than expected This is a great bag—well made and looks sharp. While it’s just a bit smaller than advertised in terms of how much it can carry, the overall size and fit are fantastic, especially for a bigger guy like me at 6’2”. Comfortable to wear and still very functional.

I ordered the Bellroy Venture Ready Pack 26L (with luggage pass-through). It would have made a great addition to my travel gear. I was really excited about this backpack because of the weight, the styling, and the luggage passthrough, which are all key features of the second edition of this bag. Unfortunately, I was sent an older version of the bag and the number one feature I needed was the luggage pass-though was not part of this one. Needless to say, I am disappointed with both Bellroy and Amazon for the misrepresentation. I returned the backpack as this version doesn't meet my needs. Hopefully you will have a better experience. The current version of the backpack is now no longer listed on Amazon and is sold out on the Bellroy website.

Once again Bellroy goes the cheap route and makes the straps too short. This rides super high on my back with the straps fully extended. A few extra pennies for more strap would have saved this. Tall people can't own any Bellroy backpacks, this is the fifth attempt to find one with straps that are long enough.

I switched from my Peak Design everyday backpack to this one. Here’s a few things I observed - - it’s lighter and more comfortable. With the peak design bag, even with just my laptop the bag felt pretty heavy - love how I can access the entire bag’s contents when it’s open. With the PD bag, it felt a bit cumbersome that I could only properly access it through the side zips - the zips on the PD bag are way better. Opening and closing was effortless. These zips aren’t as smooth. - the outer material has this weird used and faded look. When I got the bag I had my doubts if I got a used one but that’s just how the material is. The only thing I like about this bag’s looks is it isn’t flashy. - would’ve been nice to have an elastic pocket for the water bottle/tripod I’ll update the review after a couple of months of usage.
