This was frustrating but also entertaining to build i was building during my breaktime at work its been a good distraction took me little over a month to finish the pieces are very tiny smaller than legos and the island is very tricky go built but was worth it I had trouble trying not to press so hard on pieces to not lean over for island to tip over stability is questionable but after done it looks so cool as hovering Way too many extra pieces no missing parts at all amazing I used the extra to give more Stability to island as well more fun to figure out any extras where I can put on my own I love that it lights up perfect for my office I feel proud

TL;DR It's pretty and quite time-consuming in a good way, but some pieces don't fit great and the instructions aren't perfect. It is very good for the money. Pros: Very time-consuming. This took me around 4-6 hours to build. This is impressive considering the price. Comes with quite a few extra pieces, so you can modify other micro-block sets. Instructions are generally clear. Mine came with a spare LED module I can use on another set. Beautiful end result Cons: Some pieces don't fit right. Most of my 1x1 plates had the hole slightly offset so they had to be rotated to fit, and some of the pieces for the smaller palm-style trees were a bit loose. The tassels that get installed in the globes on the big tree had to be put in with a pair of pliers, as the globe pieces were very tight. It requires a bit of patience at times (step 2 tells you to install 175 pieces in a single step) Step 46 in the instructions is wrong as best as I can tell, you need to install a clear L piece with the gap facing towards the back-left of the drawing instead of the clear 2x2 depicted. Some of the assemblies, especially the smaller floating island, try to come apart when you install them. Would I buy this again knowing what I know now? Absolutely. It's an amazing deal given the cost, and was a great way to spend part of a weekend. I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't ask for anything more given the price. That said, it's probably not good for younger children.

Absolutely beautiful. My husband loves these kits because they are slightly more challenging than traditional Lego brands because the pieces are smaller and more intricate. The quality is great and he has purchased several from this company. Highly recommend.

Absolutely no instructions and most pieces came broken

It’s a beautiful set when finished. Be aware that the pieces are tiny. It’s tough to put together if you’ve never done these before. All the pieces were there and there were extras when I finished. But it took me days to finish because I couldn’t work on it consistently. It would have taken days for me even if I had. You need patience for this. But it is beautiful when it’s done.

I do agree with everyone else that the island is unstable (especially because I feel like the 6 dot piece that it's balanced on is off by a couple squares), the Chinese lantern pieces didn't fit together, a couple pieces were deformed but there were replacements, and sometimes the plants wouldn't stay on. But I had all the pieces. I had a ton of extra pieces and backups for everything. It's literally ends up just as big and cooler than the legit $160 legos and took me longer to build. I want more of them. It was probably about 12 hours of entertainment. Putting the island on was very frustrating. Don't give to anyone who isn't willing to deal with frustration and willing to be somewhat creative. I think I ended up replacing the 6 dot block holding up the island with a like 4x6 or something to shift it forward 2 dots. At some point you get mad at the plants falling off and just throw them all on at the end. Trying to put the lights/river on caused the island to fall over at least 3 times and there's not really a good way around it. Maybe look at the light/river step that's towards the end to see if you can somewhat mitigate the issue in advance. Maybe do as much of the island river as you can before attaching the island to the rest of it. I also agree that the light string is long. Consider folding in half. Would not give to anyone under like 10.

First it’s very pretty and we’re not done building it yet. Second the instructions are crap. We have had to take sections down and rebuild it a number of times. If you order it, be prepared to spend a lot of time analyzing each section, and hope you did it right.

The pieces were very small but it was very easy to assemble and fun to build. I loved the design and the lights as well, the instructions were easy to read and i would definitely purchase something similar.

First of all, it’s not-LEGO. Go into this with that understanding. That said, the blocks have worse than expected fit, the tolerances are sloppy, and every 1x(something) piece is a nightmare to put on, because there’s no underside studs stopping them from sliding over, so you’re constantly having to readjust multiple parts. The model is also held up by a total of 10 studs at the narrowest point, spread over a few different points of contact. We stopped trying at it falling apart for the 5th time and binned it. Absolutely not worth getting.
