I got three cameras about six months ago, and I have been satisfied with the results. The images are clear, and I don't have to worry about charging the camera. The features offered by the cameras and the accompanying app are amazing, and I would highly recommend them. If I had to critique something, it would be the tracking ability. BUT after reviewing other cameras, I found that this one has the second-best tracking. So I think the indurstly as a whole is not quite there yet. I feel like the full motion feature is best used in backyards or front yards, but I wouldn't recommend it for narrow pathways. I have a skinny side entrance, and if you walk quickly, the camera can lose track of you. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me since I have the camera positioned to monitor the side gate and the side door entrance of my house. If you plan to use this camera to follow people, it needs to be in a large, open area; otherwise, it may not work effectively. However, that wasn't the primary reason I bought this camera. I wanted it mainly for the ability to rotate so I could inspect my fence or look around the property. I did receive one faulty camera that I didn't catch within the initial 30-day return window, but the customer support was excellent when I called about the warranty. I want to give a special shoutout to Nicole. She was incredibly responsive and always replied to my emails within 24 hours or sooner—definitely a 5/5 experience. As for the specific issue with the faulty camera: around the 4 month mark, I noticed that one of the cameras was consistently draining its battery. At night it would be at 100% change and then in the morning it was at 80% charge even with no activity. Then one day in the morning, it dropped to 10%, prompting an alert that it needed charging. Initially, I thought the issue might be due to the solar panel's positioning because the other two cameras were charging just fine. So, I moved the solar panel to a similar location as one of the other cameras, knowing it was a good spot, but the problem persisted. After contacting customer support and going through some troubleshooting steps, we discovered that it was a battery issue. The battery would fluctuate between high charge to low charge % in minutes, never showing a gradual increase in charge %. While the other cameras would stop charging when they reached 100% through solar, this one kept charging and never attained a full charge unless plugged into an outlet. Nicole was awesome throughout the process and sent me a replacement camera. I would 100% recommend this camera even after this experience.

Bought the aosu D1 Max, 4-Cam Kit in response to my next door neighbor's house being vandalized without a security video system. He immediately bought this same item, installed it within an hour, set it up and had it running in a couple of hours. He showed me how it worked and I was amazed. So then I purchased the same, my neighbor assisted me with the same results. I am amazed at the customizations in the settings and how smart the cameras are. The tracking is adequate, zooming in on live feeds is satisfactory, manual controls lag a bit, but overall the system is easy to install, and easy to tweak to it's features. Two of the cameras on my house are in an area that receives constant shade, but the solar panel catches the ambient light to keep the cameras charged. The night vision appears to capture everything. I also like the ability while in "Live Mode" to turn the camera light on so that the images are color, to be able to speak to someone through the camera, to be able to hear sounds. I'm looking at adding an additional outdoor camera as well as an indoor camera. This is an excellent value. I even installed a 512Gb micro SD card for storage. No subscription required.

I bought this camera after reading the reviews. I received the cameras the nezt day after I ordered it. I bought two cameras. The setup was very simple and fast for one of the camera. The other camera was very difficult to connect. I reached out to the customer service and the guy tried helping me over the phone. The camera still never connected so a ticket was created to resolve the issue. Ana reached out and was very extremely helpful and resolved the issue. She was amazing and very extremely helpful and did an amazing wonderful job helping me and resolving the issue. I must say their customer service is outstanding. And I would recommend buying the camera. Now the cameras work amazing.

The app is frustratingly slow. In trying to set the default view, the camera will ignore, have a delay or spin about. The app shows signal strength is "excellent" I find my static Blink cameras perform better, having more manual settings. The AI dependent software appears to ignore directional commands or just decides what's best for you. You can't adjust record time, Ai does that for you. You can't block out areas-like your neighbors house and yard, Ai decides for you. The "Events" on the main menu only defaults to one of the 4 camera events instead of listing events from all cameras (each camera has it's own event selection). So, an Event on my driveway won't be shown unless I select that camera and wait 10 minutes to see it. I'm in SD, not UHD. I found that standing in the area you want to set for default view is easier than using the directional pointers as the AI knows what a person looks like but not a driveway. I hope there will be updates that allow more USER control over the default AI. I can walk up my driveway, see the camera following me, come into the house, make a cuppa, before I can view the video of me walking up the driveway. My signal is great, 200mbs at the camera, 300mbs at the station. Maybe the AI system is a slow thinker? I gave it 2 stars as it will provide a record and track, but for security, my cheap blink cameras are faster and easier to mount. edit: After a couple months, I'm dropping it to 1 star. I've had to reset the default view several times as the cameras decide to turn 180 degrees on their own. So, all my cameras will be pointing at their mounts. Also, it still ignores people walking by and when it does follow, it centers on the legs, awkwardly jerking upwards, then back to the legs. I've also gotten, "Limit Reached" on a 360 degree camera. If I move the camera left, then right, the limit reached is removed and I can spin the camera. I purchased this based upon YT reviews but I would not recommend this camera system to anyone.

These cameras are easy to set up as they provide superior quality and functionality with PTZ that actually works. I wasn't sure the solar panel would be enough in the predominantly shady location I set one up in, but it boosted the battery to 100% in just a few days even with heavy use. With all this said I only rated it 4 stars because it doesn't integrate with any smart home apps, including IFTTT, Google Home, or SmartThings like my old camera did. This was confirmed by Support. While I was able to connect to Google Home, it didn't offer any functionality. Support informed me that you need the Google Nest Hub to see video through this connection. But even then, true Smart Home integration is lacking - So I have to keep an old camera that is set up to trigger my Lutron exterior lights to turn on when it detects motion after sunset through SmartThings - being functionality that doesn't appear to be possible with aosu. I'll bump the rating up to 5 if aosu decides to support true Smart Home integration.

Update - Ann from the Aosu Support Team was amazing! I reached out about the battery drain issue and she very politely sent me a replacement camera and let me keep the old one. I ended up putting that one somewhere I could just plug it in and all 3 are now working flawlessly. The cameras themselves work great. Amazing 4k picture quality, tracking works well, good field of view. The audio isn’t great but I don’t really need to hear much. Wind noise drowns everything out. Night vision works perfect with 3 modes. (Battery life is great on one of the cameras but the other camera seems to use more and the solar panel isn’t supplying enough energy to charge it to 100% during the day. ) - Solved! I’ve tried moving it to better location and even switched the cameras around but it seems that just one of them uses more battery no matter where I put it. Same settings and everything. That’s why it gets 4 stars. I like being able to locally store my video but they make it a little inconvenient if you don’t pay the monthly subscription by sending a notification for every little movement. I don’t need to get notified of every car passing, but I can’t turn it off unless I pay monthly. Overall it’s a good camera system, great if you don’t mind paying the monthly fee

We’ve been really happy with our Aosu cameras so far. The picture quality is great and the cameras give us a really clear view, including at night. I also love that they’re solar powered. Not having to constantly take them down and charge them is such a nice convenience. The biggest thing I want to mention, though, is the customer service. We had an issue with our base not working, and I was honestly expecting it to be a hassle to get resolved. It wasn’t at all. Customer service was great and they immediately sent us a new base. They were quick to respond and made the whole process really easy. That definitely made me feel better about choosing Aosu. One little tip for anyone using eero WiFi: when you’re setting everything up, you may need to temporarily pause the 5 GHz network so the base can connect. Once it’s connected, you can turn 5 GHz back on. We didn’t know that at first, so hopefully this helps someone else who is having trouble getting theirs connected. Overall, we’re very happy with them. Good picture quality, solar charging, and really good customer service. I’d definitely buy Aosu cameras again.

I was looking for a security camera system Wireless outdoor that was also compatible with my current security system. While it is supported by Google and phone app for viewing, I would have hoped for more access by other security systems. I will say the quality of the picture of the cameras are very good.

After reading many reviews and watching videos, I ordered the Aosu Security system because I wanted Solar so I didn't have to charge batteries etc., so far they are staying charged at 100%. The delivery was on time, the packaging was solid, the instructions on the App were simple and installation was easy. I am using the base for storage and it is working the way it is supposed to. This system has so many features to choose from on the App so you can customize it to your needs. Also, I like the fact that when I choose the live feed I can move the camera around to see beyond the set main area. I did need assistance with one thing and called the customer service number and was helped immediately. I highly recommend this system.

I originally purchased this camera back in 2025 and it did everything I needed it to do and with clarity. Unfortunately, the battery stopped charging at 25% (keep in mind, this camera has ran every single day on a solar panel all hours of the day including our harsh winters where temperatures drop to -30°C). I contacted AOSU Support and Ann was quick to look into my problem and provide me with assistance. I provided video proof and it was determined the problem was the battery was faulty. With the 1 year warranty AOSU offers, Ann was able to send me the same but new camera. Overall the customer service experience was quick and easy and they will ensure you’re satisfied with your purchase.

I’m really happy with my Aosu Solarcam D1 Max 4‑cam kit. Since the cameras run on solar power, there’s zero wiring to deal with, which makes installation super easy. Setting everything up in the app was quick and painless, and the app itself is simple and easy to use. The video quality is great, the motion detection works well, and I love that all the recordings are stored right on the base station — no subscription needed. But honestly, the customer service has been the real standout. Huge shoutout to Ann — she was incredibly kind, knew exactly what she was doing, and helped me sort out a small camera issue without any hassle. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid security camera setup.

This AOSU system is replacing my Blink cameras. There are pros and cons to the AOSU but more pros than cons. The ability to track movement and the clarity are awesome. The color night vision is an added bonus. The AI ability to only show events with PEOPLE, CARS and PETS is great, no more shadows or misc movement. They do need a strong wifi signal to set up but work great after setup with a weaker wifi signal. Actual mounting of the cameras is easy with the provided templates. I had to find longer mounting poles for the solar panels so that all the panels (4) were in the sunlight throughout the day. The only thing I have found so far that is a con is that I can't delete multiple events at the same time....only one event at a time. All in all, it seems like a better system so far.
