Optimum Aspect Combimate 2 fit Scale Prevention System - [Pack of 1] (Cistermiser COMBIMATE)

My husband is a retired plumber/heating engineer and although we always had water softeners in our houses we fitted combiMate to all the combination boilers we fitted whilst working in the industry. They are and were the best scale reducer on the market. Now we live in a Retirement development apartment which means we only have room for a CombiMate in a cupboard. The bathroom basin and tap stay cleaner. No more scum/scale stuck in the creases of the basin. Same with shower glass screen/walls etc. and the kitchen tap and sink stay scale free too. Would recommend this product to everyone. It was well packaged and delivered early.

Easy to fit but just make sure you thoroughly wash through any flux used BEFORE final connection as flux kills the unit and invalidates the warranty. By adding the internal shelve, and thereby halving the number of crystals, the unit will protect an individual application, like a washing machine. To protect an entire system, simply take out the shelve and fill the bowl full of crystals.My only small gripe is that on connecting the outlet. There is not enough depth hold the base with a wrench (to stop over tightening) whilst tightening the compression nut from above. As the nut tightens it comes down on top of the retaining wrench. The inlet if fine as the base is deeper.

This was not easy to install due to pipe works under sink but I had an excellent plumber!

Item arived the box looks like it was bashed on the corners and the tamperproof seal was broken

I have had this product before easy to fit works well

Seems to be doing the job it’s meant to do!Highly recommended

Very pleased with the first one, have just ordered another one for our new house (it did get better over time too)
