Lightweight and Great for Camping
I really like this solar panel! Itโs lightweight, compact, and folds down small enough that itโs easy to pack with our camping gear. I like that it can collect sunlight from both sides when positioned correctly, which helps make better use of the available light. Itโs simple to set up and convenient for keeping compatible devices or a power station charged while camping or spending time outdoors. The waterproof design is also a big plus for outdoor use. Great portable option without having to carry around a large, heavy solar panel!

OK. NOT GREAT
Not quite powerful enough to charge our jackery 300 fast enough...we had to upgrade to a 100W....

Defective solar panel
The 40W Air was working great for about two weeks, then stopped providing any real charging, not even for a simple cell phone in direct sun at noon. It also damaged my power bank, totally dead after using. Very disappointed.

Great product for CPAP users!
I used this to charge my Jackery 300 plus on a 2 weeks trip offgrid. I have been able to get 33w output on nice afternoons. A couple of hours a day and my Jackery 300 plus was full again to power my CPAP for a great night sleep! Great product. Sturdy, light and powerful enough. Great by for CPAP campers.

Works great
Works great up in northern Saskatchewan on 10 day canoe trips. Charged my 20000MaH power bank. If course when thereโs smoke or poor weather it is limited

Great customer service. On an older Jackery 240, you will need an adapter (DC8020 to DC7909).
These work exactly as advertised. I purchased 2 of them. They fold up really small and lightweight.

No Extra Equipment Needed โ Just Plug In & Charge!
SolarSaga 40W - This little solar panel is something I have immediately been able to integrate into my everyday life and camping style without needing any additional equipment! Just a basic USB charging cable that 99.9% of people already have on hand. โบ๏ธ I absolutely love that I can plug devices directly into the panel and begin charging immediately. For someone who is just getting into solar power, that made this panel incredibly approachable and easy to use. The size is also fantastic. Folded up, it easily fits inside my 16" laptop bag with plenty of room to spare. It's lightweight, portable, easy to take outside, move around to follow the sun, or pack for camping. As someone with a physical/movement-related disability, the ease of use with this panel is a huge plus for me. As soon as this little panel arrived, I took it outside to start playing with it! I plugged in my dad's phone, and it went from 56% to 70% in 30 minutes during the evening with lower sun, some tree shade, and cloud cover. That immediately got me excited about the real-world applications! The next day, what really surprised me was how it performed with one of my little (phone-sized) battery banks. The battery bank started at 10% and reached 100% in approximately 6 hours of outdoor charging (noon to 6 p.m., high sun). That's especially exciting because the same battery bank typically takes about 5โ6 hours to charge when plugged into a wall outlet. I have been playing with this panel constantly since it arrived, and it continues to impress me. I just love how easy it is to use and that it can immediately charge small devices like a phone, tablet, or little power bank. I am about to take this panel camping for 4 days. I already know I can operate off-grid for 4 days with only two small power banks, but having this panel along means I won't need to conserve or worry about stretching my battery life. Obviously, solar power is dependent on the sun and weather conditions. These are some things I have noticed about the SolarSaga 40W: โข It can function in less-than-ideal conditions, but it definitely prefers bright midday sun with minimal cloud cover. That's when you'll get the fastest charging times. โข It will still charge if one or two sections of the panel are partially shaded by a tree or other obstacle, especially during lower evening light. โข I brought the solar panel inside during a thunderstorm, and when the sky started brightening up a bit (even before the sun came through the clouds), the device started slowly charging through a window! This little panel has been one of the easiest and most practical products I have ever used. I'm so, so, so happy with it. I do have a Jackery 500W power station on the way, and I suspect this panel will be quite slow for charging a battery that large. So, will this little panel be great for larger power stations? I suspect not. Where it really shines is in everyday use: charging your phone or a small battery bank when needed. In my opinion, it fits smaller power needs perfectly. 10/10 - So easy to use and incredibly practical!! ๐คฉ

Pretty convenient addition to the kit. Have so many things that require juice.
Honestly was shocked at how light weight these were. And they were more portable and convenient size wise than I was expecting thanks to the folding design. They don't quick charge by any means compared to what I am used to. But for the days out, having ANY charge at all, is of immense value and really helps extend the use of devices. Between these and power banks, I am really able to stretch the usefulness of the gear throughout the day. I find these fairly easy to toss into the pack, or back of the vehicle depending on the day. Live in an environment that gets sunshine pretty much all year long on most days, so that certainly helps. Have not personally had issues yet - but will see how they hold up with further use. So far have had some trial runs that have gone alright. I just wish there was a way to boost the performance a bit. But again. Every little bit helps. The banks go so far. And then if we're away from anywhere to charge - that's it. But the panels provide a little bit of a second wind along the way. Likes: - Very light weight. - Folding design is convenient. - Slow, but appreciated boost in our sunny environment. Dislikes: - A bit slower than I'd realistically like.
