Bosch 00631200 Dishwasher Drain Pump

Perfect fit for my Bosch SHX68T55UC/07. I watched a bunch of YouTube repair videos and it seemed easy enough, so I ordered this part. Turns out this dishwasher model is bit more enclosed on the bottom, so only access to this pump was on the right side. At first I thought it was too tight for me to fit my hand in and perform the install, but I gave it a try and to my surprise I was able to turn the old/failed drain pump counter-clockwise to remove it. Then I got this new drain pump in the same spot and was able to turn clockwise to install. (Be sure to double-check you got the pump all the way in so you don't get a leak. After I made my install, I double-checked and I'm glad I did because the far side wasn't in all the way. It was impossible to see because how enclosed my dishwasher is, so you have to feel around to make sure its in all the way.) About 30min of effort and my dishwasher works like new again. With the old drain pump, it had been loud for months and finally stopped draining the dishwasher (posted error E25). This new drain pump is quiet and has no problems. I run my dishwasher on a daily basis, so my 2016 Bosch gets lots of use. I was so happy to find out that I could replace this part myself and for about $25. I can only imagine how expensive calling a repair person would have been.

I tried an off brand, and couldn’t get it to work. This one fit right in and does the job! Be sure to press in firmly.

A perfect fit. Our washer suddenly stopped draining. I was able to narrow it down to an issue with the pump (someone put something the washer that caused a clog in the old drain pump). Removed the old pump and wire connections. Installed new pump. Fit perfectly. Reinstalled dishwasher. Same low noise level as before

Great part and essentially a plug and play fix. My dishwasher works like new again!!

DON"T buy this pump. It will destroy your main computer board in your dishwasher. I made the mistake of buying it and installing it. It shorted out the main logic board. Call in a professional repair guy and he trouble shot the dishwasher and attempted to repair it with a new logic board. Once he tried to start the dishwasher the same thing happened. It blew out the new main logic board. Now I'm on my why to ABT to buy a new dishwasher. It's too bad I can't give this pump zero stars.

So far so good. My part number/date actually matched one of the photos for this unit so I purchased this one. The price was right in the middle of the other offerings. Tested it with a couple of rinse cycles and worked well. We’ll see how long it lasts.

This is an original Bosch part, AND it came one day earlier than expected. After checking there were no clogs that would prevent proper and complete draining I suspected the issue was with the pump. At $40 I figured I would take a chance and ordered one. That indeed was the culprit. Make sure you lubricate not only the O-rings on the new pump but also on the inside of the housing when replacing the old one with the new. It will make the installation just a bit easier.

Ordered b4 removing old pump so I was suspicious this was not a true Bosch brand part but after comparing the new and old pumps I believe this to be a Bosch brand part. The name Bosch appears nowhere on either old nor new pump. All other markings are the same except the two dot matrix printed lines that likely are coded regarding manufacturing. My Bosch model: SHSM63W52N/01 — FD970800078 (SilencePlus 44 dBA) Came with no instructions. Installed without moving dishwasher (in place). Only removed bottom kick panel, a metal panel, and some insulation. There was no room to spare to grip the pump, push the plastic pawl to allow pump to twist out clockwise (left handed bayonet mount). Fixed my E23 error. Working well for a few weeks now.

This new pump was easy to swap out (once I learnt how to on Youtube) and works great. Why did I need a pump? Drainage error code with evidence of undrained water at the bottom of the dishwasher prompted me to clean out the filter (from top) and access the pump (from bottom). I found strips of plastic in the filter and entwined on the rotor, concluded it was undissolved plastic film from the liquid detergent pods. Read up that sometimes the plastic does not dissolve completely and can even build up as sludge in the pipes. Cleaned old pump, but it kept on struggling, so concluded it was damaged. Swapped out with the new pump and switched to hard pods without plastic covering. Dishwasher works great again!
