Q: Bought one of these last week, i want another but it's gone up by about £5? they cost £67.95 on action hobbies, £7 cheaper, why the price change?

Just bought one. £99 now gone up to £105

Q: would this fit a .223rifle with scope attached

No idea as you've not said how big it is. The internal dimensions of the case are in the description, so you can measure up and check.

The layer in the top half is eggshell with 2 layers of pluck foam in the bottom.

It has 2 layer, both 3cm thick plus the textured foam on the roof of the case. In regards to fitting to m4's in it I doubt it. If theyre 59cm long each then even with done careful placement I dont think you'd manage it. It's a great case but maybe not for your needs.
