I absolutely adore the a Christmas carol films so when I saw this I had to buy it to read over Christmas. A must read if you love the films

It was the night before xmas and im sitting in my porch under a candle with all gates and doors locked just sitting there chilling with b**g in hand and my favourite chocolate and book the Christmas Carol by Charles dickens , absolute bliss when the only thing ya can hear is the little critters rustling under the dry twiggy bushes , I love xmas and I love this book an absolute must have am very happy with the book its of good quality and is just big enough to hold comfortably, a good buy.

Of course I know the story but I've never read the book. This book slips in to my handbag easily, which is quite handy. It's pretty but not fussy and I'm loving reading the story for myself. It's darker than I imagined (but in my head it's still Michael Caine and the Muppets!)

I loved this story from the first time it was read to me by Mr. L.Laughlin English teacher first year at Maybury High school. It stuck with me for the rest of my life. Ive bought many ,many copies some very collectable. I have hopefully turned other people onto this fabulous Christmas story(with a profound meaning) as I have bought Christmas Carol for many a gift. The copy shown here is one of three copies I bought for my Sisters who knew the story but none had copy of. They do now.

I am a sucker for gold foiling on books and this one is no exception! It's a beautiful edition of a Christmas Carol with lovely details on the binding. It has nice little illustrations in this edition. It's a lot smaller of a book thank you might be expecting so keep that in mind. I like the size of it it's compact and perfect for a read on a winter's day close to the holidays.
