Brilliant, never has something so Cheap been so effective.
I've been building bases for beds and wanted to glue and dowel lots of sections together. Made it so predictable and so Easy. Recommend you clamp the jig, have a 4mm pilot drill tou o soften up the wood, then go for it with your 8 or 10mm. Tip if you screw a hole up not quite aligned because you didn't clamp right, use a smaller dowel with expending wood glue. Once you've done a few holes you soon get good at it. Brilliant.

Use your own drill bits
Jog itself seems ok... but the spur point drill bits supplied seem completely incompatible with the stop collars which severely twist and slip when tightened due to the body clearance and impossible to position right... am gong to have to buy new 8 mm bog standard twist bit without any body clearance...

A bit disappointing
When fitted the fence isn't machined square to the holes so i can't use the fence. There are many 'high spots' on the plastic jig making it near on impossible for it to lay square on the workpiece even if you try to clamp it. A bit disappointing.

Kits ok, dowels are under size
The kit is fine and a great help.The dowels supplied are undersize. But didn't matter as I had others.

Dowels are supposed to fit tight!
I thought there might be a problem when the drill was a sloppy fit in the jig but carried on. Drilled the hole, got the hammer ready to tap the dowel in but didn't need it as dowel wasn't a snug fit. Tried other dowels in case it was undersize but it wasn't. Had to glue the dowel in instead
