Metal is really strong with good thickness, we can confidently lay our weight on it.Please note the original footpeg will no longer fold after installation, which is fine

Good and practical
The pillion footrest for the vstrom 250 is very small. These extender is well designed , with enough space to accomodate the saddle stay. It clamps into two position one at the footrest and with thr bracket provided in frame of the bike. Also it has enough rubber cushons to protect the silencer.
