DR RCA-12 Strings Sunbeam Acoustic Medium

These are, without doubt, the the best strings I have had on my Epiphone Hummingbird.

These take only a week or so to come, and as a pack of three are good value compared to UK retailers.

The D string was dead on arrival. Unwound. They said they’d send a replacement but didn’t. I reminded them. Ignored me. Bummer because I used to like these strings.

My bridge is low and these strings have an extra long bit at the bottom, so the wire that should be inside the bridge was over the saddle, so not the best for my old acoustic.

best strings I've tried.

The strings are generally nice, tuning easily and holding intonation well. However, the 2nd string literally booms out compared to all the others and to make matters worse, the 1st string is weaker than all the others. I'll be quite willing to try these again in the hope that I have a rogue set, but even if that is all that is wrong, they are quite expensive and one could expect better for the price. I restrung the guitar a few days ago so they've had a chance to settle down but the differences are still there. No idea about longevity since I've only just started using them.

If you like a more treble chiming sound, the these strings do the job!!

I like you have tried all brands of acoustic guitar strings. DR Sunbeams (light gauge .12-.54) are the best to my ears and fingers. A brighter phosphor bronze string that lasts a long time and gets better sounding with age. They defy typical uncoated string decay.Like them so much, bought a set for my other acoustic, an all hog dread. Same result. These are the best strings out there.

Very easy on the fingers and don't require a lot of strength for its gauge. The sound is amazingly bright yet balanced. For people complaining about dead strings, it's written in red letters in the instructions that cut after after the strings are wound. These strings bend really well for the gauge. Going to be my go-to strings for now.

Diese handgefertigten Saiten von SUNBEAM sind die besten Saiten die ich je auf der Martin D28 drauf hatte (gekauft habe ich SUNBEAM Round Core RCA 12).Ein sehr sauberes Klangbild, wunderbare Einzeltöne und beim strumming sehr warm und klar. Sehr schönes Sustain, es macht Spaß damit zu spielen. Kaum ein Nachstimmen erforderlich nach dem Neuaufziehen. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen, sie sind ihr Geld absolut wert.
