As a professional artist, I'm always looking for great art tools. I paint mixed media on matchstick bamboo. When sketching the piece on bamboo, I use white pencil and have typically used hand erasures, which have never worked that well on the grooves in between the bamboo. I switched recently to electric erasures, and wish I had done this years ago! What use to take 10 minutes now takes literally seconds to erase. The erasure completely removes any markings and considering it's erasing from raw bamboo, that says a lot! This has a lot of power for a small battery operated item. It also works well for my sketchbook where I use colored pencils. Very pleased, as you also get a large variety of extra erasures. Super necessary item that every artist should have in their studio.

Works great, sounds like a dentist drill but ya get over it. Just hope when I need the eraser refills I can find them. I draw a lot and it really comes in handy.

The eraser is very easy to use and it erases the paper very well. I think it erases a little better than my handheld eraser. I do adult coloring books and it erases all different types of colors. It erases the waxes, and the oil Colors. There is one thing however that you need to be aware of. This eraser erases all the way down to the tooth of the paper. Normally this is not a problem and does not show. However I use chalk pastel colors for the backgrounds of my adult coloring book pages. When I erase something in the middle of the page With this electric eraser, the spot that has been erased down to the tooth of the paper shows up darker when applying the chalk pastels to your paper. Whenever you go over the erased part of the paper it shows up darker in that area then it does the rest of your picture. This is only when using the chalk pastels which I use often. So I have to be mindful to use a handheld eraser when I am going to use soft pastels on my coloring page. I would recommend to people that use soft pastels that at the end of your project to do a test page before you start your project to see what it’s going to look like when you complete your coloring project. Erase a spot on a test page and then put the soft pastel over the spot that has been erased. You will see that that spot shows up and stands out. This does not look good on the picture. There is not a problem for any other projects like drawing, or any type of writings. The eraser works well.

When it comes to writing my young reader stories I'm strictly old school. I write it all in pencil and make rough sketches as I do. The pencil eraser doesn't last as long as the pencil. So you need an alternative. I used the classic pink eraser for years and still do when marking on wood., but when you have a large area to erase on paper it always seems to catch and wrinkle it. That's where this electric eraser comes in handy. It's quiet, fast and doesn't take a lot of pressure to get the job done. I like the battery feature because I don't have time for recharging. Just pop in a fresh set and you're good. It also comes with plenty of refills or you can buy them separately.Recommended!

One purchases January 19th it is the 4th of April and no longer works. change the battery a few times then after a while the battery sent fit properly they kept falling out had to try to adjust the positive bar inside the thing so the batteries would fit more snug not good

Every teacher should have one of these they erase so well, and there is absolutely no smudge marks left behind. Highly recommend for anyone that erases on daily ases. Great to use with yours can n cut or cricket
