Tarazi Falafel Mix, 1 Pound

I’m back! So, I made a recipe using the Tarazi Falafel Mix, and it is quite possibly the most flavorful, perfect falafel mix right out of the box! I wish there were more stars! I made Smash Falafel- look it up on YT. It’s the easiest, quickest way to enjoy a falafel sandwich. I will absolutely reorder when I run out and highly recommend the small business I bought it from. 10 outta 10.

Have had authentic Egyptian falafel home-made from friends. This is outstanding! Used 3Tbs cookie scoop, flattened into patties and fried in minimal amount of light olive oil- few minutes per side. Sprinkled semester seeds before I cooked them. Will definitely buy again. Will freeze the leftovers! One package made 12 burger-sized patties. So happy- delicious!!!

Tasty, but a little on the dry side. I baked the patties and had no issue with them other than the fact that since I don't use oil, they stuck to the parchment paper, which made it a little difficult to remove them after baking.

Food product reviews are always subjective, but here's one take on this Tarazi Falafel Mix. It's good! Nice flavors with a little "zing" to it all. I've only made one batch per the boxes instructions, and used the oven baking method. They came out good, though a little drier than hoped. That was likely due to a few minutes of overlooking, not having mixed in enough water, and smooshing the balls into patties before baking. Next time I will try frying them as balls in a pan of oil per the traditional method. There's a decent amount of mix per box so you can get a few batches out of it. Overall, a very good, clean flavor to me. I would recommend, though as stated at the start it's all subjective to your tastes.
