Got all the ACNH amiibos! Works for 3DS as well
How did it take me so long to discover this product exists... I was really considering buying several individual amiibos for Animal Crossing, but that was going to be pretty pricy for all the special characters I wanted to scan in. Flashiibo has been so worth the money for me! I'm not super techy but I was able to figure out how to navigate it quickly. All the Animal Crossing amiibos I've tried have worked perfectly and I will continue to use it while I play through Animal Crossing games on Switch and 3DS! It worked well for both. The one downside is that the files for characters aren't the most well organized but scrolling to find the right ones is not that big of a deal considering all the amiibos you have access to with this one small, simple device. It fits in the palm of my hand and would fit into some switch cases for travel/ portability. Way better than having a bunch of amiibo cards to sort through. I've had mine for several months and scanned many amiibos and have not had any issues with function or battery life. Really worth it and I'm glad this product exists!

The Best Amiibo Emulator Available
I have used almost every Amiibo emulation tool that has come out over the years. I’ve made my own cards & coins, I’ve used CodeJunkies PowerTags, have two N2 Elite’s and more that I’ve forgotten the names of. Given all of my history in this arena I can honestly say that the current version of Flashiibo Pro is truly the best in it’s category. My reasoning for saying this is that the price, ease of use, reliability, support, and continued development efforts make it well placed as your go-to tool. There are much more expensive options that have more flexibility or functionality but 99% of users don’t need or use any of that. There are also cheaper devices that are cheaper for a reason… their build quality and battery life suck. I actually have two versions of the Flashiibo Pro… the original version was more like others you see. A small box with a toggle joystick to control it. It still works, is still supported and is a decent backup for my main unit. With that said, the dev behind this product listened to the users and upgraded to the current version which is MUCH better all around. The software and capabilities are the same but the physical device and buttons are major enhancements. Firmware updates are regular and well documented… this shows you that the dev actively maintains the device and if in the future the hardware needs upgrading to meet new requirements I have no doubt they’ll make it happen. Any compatibility issues that come up are addressed quickly and their Discord channel is very active. Everything you need or want to know about the product, The dev choose not to create a custom app for managing their device. This was a very wise choice. Instead they worked with other established app developers to support their product and the Discord support community actively provides answers to any questions in this regard. Ally Pro is highly recommended but nearly any other software that can manage NTAG215’s will work with this device. This is a welcome change to past devices like the N2Elite which stopped being supported by the original developers a long time ago. Now, support is available through Ally Pro and other high quality apps. The same is true for PowerTags. Finally… the bottom line is that you can NOT buy everything you need to create your own collection of cards or coins for anywhere near the cost of a single Flashiibo. At present, I have the ENTIRE librarry of released Amiibos on both of my Flashiibo units and they both have memory to spare. We are talking about almost 900 Amiibos (cards, figurines, wristtbands, etc). They’re all there… I pick which one I want and scan… it is that simple. For games that only allow you to scan an Amiibo once per day (Zelda) the Flashiibo will automatically randomize the Amiibo’s UID every time it is scanned. That means it appears to the Switch / Switch 2 that every scan is a different Amiibo. In other words, if you scan the Link Amiibo 20 times then the switch sees it as 20 individual Link figurines and it works every time. All that’s required is to enable that setting in one place. Again, it’s all documented and easy to follow. No… I wasn’t paid for this review nor have I gotten any other benefit for writing it. These are my personal opinions based on years of Amiibo spoofing and hope my experiences help you decide on your Amiibo spoofing path.

Absolute must have.
This little Flashiibo Pro is seriously the best NFC Emulator I've ever had. I've tried a few others, but none even come close to this one. It's already got ALL the ACNH villagers pre-installed, like, everyone! Even Blathers, Celeste, and Brewster are on there. Plus, it comes with some cool The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., and Splatoon Amiibos too. If you scan the QR code on the box, it even shows you how to add more Amiibos and other neat tricks. The screen is awesome, super clear and easy to read everything. And it's so small, you can take it anywhere, especially since it came with a strap. The battery life is insane. I've gotten about 2-3 weeks out of one charge, using it almost daily for 1-4 hours. Seriously, it's a great little gadget that saves you money and even some space! Instead of buying a ton of Amiibo figures or cards that you might lose, you get them all in this one handy device. I'm definitely getting another one to give my little brother for Christmas this year!

I use this with my switch 2 for BOTW & TOTK & it works better than I expected
This came right out of the box with amiibos already on it for the legend of Zelda (it had all of them from across the whole franchise I believe), Splatoon, Super Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, Mario, Pokemon (I don’t know what games these work for), Metroid, Diablo, Fire Emblem, Kirby, Mega Man, Monster Hunter (& Rise), Pikmin, Xenoblade, Yoshi, & Yugioh Rush Duels. & if those aren’t satisfying enough for you I’m pretty sure you can add & remove amiibos by connecting to a computer but I have not tried this because it came with everything I needed already on it so I could be wrong about that. It’s really simple to operate & scan the amiibos in. The only problem I found was that the Link Tears of the Kingdom amiibo has just never worked for me. Whenever I try to scan it the game just makes an error sound & nothing falls from the sky like a magic Christmas available daily. If you’re worried this will brick your device allow me to calm your nerves. Haha I’m on a switch 2 with the most recent update running & I haven’t had any issues. It’s really just like having all like 100 amiibos (or however many are on this thing) in a really compact neat package. & it’s pretty dummie-proof. Like I don’t know how you could not figure this thing out in like 5 minutes. So if you’re on the fence, buy it. It’s awesome & way cheaper than whatever Nintendo is extorting us for to get actual amiibos.

Works fantastically well and is super easy to use. Bought to use in Miitopia and I do not regret my purchase in the slightest

As described and works fine.
I got the Flashmiibo Pro OLED. The version delivered is actually the Pro 2 (second generation). It is the only Pro version being shipped via Amazon at this writing. It is easy to tell the second from the first generation as the second generation has 3 buttons on it. Let me tell you, those buttons make the unit far easier to navigate than previous iterations. In my experience here are the pros and cons. Pros: I have limited brain capacity due to COVID. I was still able to get it set up with the help of the discord community. I think I read the very thorough instructions 20 times or more. I watched the couple of videos available and still needed the community. If you are of even half a brane you can probably figure this out on your own. I certainly would have been able to do it pre COVID. Yes, this is a Pro comment as the community really shined and was very patient with me. When the unit ships, the package was plenty sturdy to protect this tiny unit. The OLED screen is fantastic, especially when you think about other versions having no such thing as several lines of text in the menus. So far I am only using mine for Tears of the Kingdom. I bought the card set for about the price of one amiibo and got them all, BUT, they are so tiny they will be very easy to lose some. Not so with this unit. It is very small, but plenty large to not get lost easily. I don't remember exactly how many amiibos are out there for all the games, but this unit has plenty of room in it for thousands of them. There can only be up to 100 per list, but as far as I can tell, there are unlimited lists and it is easy to set them up and to use them. It is all in the instructions. I keep mentioning the instructions. They are not included in the package. There are instructions for downloading them from online. It was easy and the print was easier for me to see anyway. The poor ratings you might find for the lanyard that comes with it problem certainly didn't apply to my unit. The lanyard is securely placed and it sure doesn't look like I am ever going to have any problem with it. I believe the unit was designed in the USA, built in China for them and shipped to the USA for distribution. When you order from Amazon it is delivered quickly. My older laptop had no problem at all connecting via bluetooth. You can use this device with PC, iPhone, or Android. I think Mac, too. Cons: It is a little small. If you have clumsy fingers, you will have to be careful to hit the right buttons. Still, it is far better than other styles of similar product. I didn't try, but you might get 8 of these in a cigarette pack. I think they are difficult to find in the UK and maybe a little pricier. They are working on this. The unit will not communicate with your PC or smart phone via the included USB cable. It is for charging. Bluetooth is fairly self explanatory if you just follow the prompts for your device. Overall, am I happy with this purchase? I am thrilled. It is working perfectly and sure makes playing my Switch more fun.

It is good, and almost great.
4 Stars, but honestly it is nearly 5 stars. Came charged up, loaded with amiibos, and ready to roll. If all you want is to somehow use amiibos, this is a great option. My one star removal is simply for a few very minor issues that won't really affect most people. I did not scan through this with a fine comb, but I would say there are over 800 amiibos preloaded and I think that fits with the total amount of amiibos that exist. Like 600 of those are animal crossing amiibos lol. Here are a few of the negatives: After constant amiibo usage for a few minutes, returning to the file list from the amiibo scanning will cause the unit to shut off. It is a VERY minor inconvenience, it starts back up instantly and you can simply navigate back to the file list quickly. No USB data management, all data management is done through bluetooth, so your phone or a PC with bluetooth capability is necessary to alter or adjust files easily. Not only is bluetooth the only method, you actually need to use their web tool to add/alter files and it has restrictions. For example, you can't just MOVE files and you must delete+reupload to move things around. I don't play most of the games these amiibos are for, and mostly got it for BoTW/TotK so I wanted to condense folders so I could just constantly use amiibos with a single button push. Ultimately, I just reuploaded everything into just 6 folders, plus animal crossing's six folders. I'm not sure if 100 files per folder is an actual limit, but 100 amiibos is about as far as I can go without wanting to stop for a few minutes, and some of their folders already sat at the 100 mark so I just went with that. So far, I've been able to upload all the amiibo data a second time in a new folder with fewer file splits and it still has space to spare for more, so that much is nice. In order to upload new amiibo data or update firmware they do have tutorials on their website in google chrome specifically, but as I said bluetooth is required. You don't fully pair the device with bluetooth though, you go to their website and protools.flashiibo site and it has a "connect" button, you sorta connect the device to that specific website in google chrome. I'm no expert, but I nearly missed this and was frustrated. When I noticed the connect button everything made sense and worked perfectly, but it is a little cumbersome to manage the files.

Access to all your amiibos!
I have a bunch of the first-run amiibos back from the Wii U days, which are all still in their packaging. Always wanted to use them, but you can't use them while they are still boxed. I've since moved and they are still in safe basement storage. This Flashiibo device has allowed me to have basically every one of the my boxed amiibos and all of the others in a tiny box. I finally was able to unlock all of the Mario Kart 8 suits, among other unlockables and receive game advantages while playing certain games. Seems like it's being actively support as well with firmware updates and logs of what those updates are, and apps for connecting via phone, windows, Mac or even a browser. If you've wanted to use amiibos, this is the device to get!
