This COMFEE electric tea kettle is a really solid kitchen purchase and I use it every single day. The 1.7L capacity is plenty for making tea or boiling water for coffee, oatmeal, or whatever else you need. The double wall stainless steel design keeps the exterior cool to the touch, which is a nice safety feature especially if you have kids around.It heats up super fast and the auto shut-off works perfectly — no worrying about leaving it on. The design is sleek and modern and looks great on the counter. Honestly, I didn't expect to love a kettle this much but here we are. If you're in the market for a reliable, stylish electric kettle, this one is a winner. Definitely recommend it!

Review is for COMFEE 1.7L Double Wall Electric Tea Kettle. I was surprised that the kettle's appearance was actually much nicer in person compared to the product photos. Design is sleek and modern. The overall build quality appears to be solid. The flip-up switch has a built-in light to indicate when the unit is powered on (this was not shown in the photos).The interior steel vessel is a singular piece (like a thermos) and has no seals that might potentially leak (the corners have a small radius - no weld points). There are no plastic parts that come into contact with the water. Even the underside of the lid is one solid piece of metal. NOTE: my unit had a plastic and metal mesh strainer attached on the inside, which was easily removed via the plastic notches.The exterior is a nicely finished, glossy plastic with a solid handle. Looks like it should hold up well.Heating times (starting with cold tap water to full boil):8m30s with cold water filled to the MAXIMUM line3m10s with cold water filled to the MINIMUM lineI have not owned the unit for very long, but based on the use I've had so far, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nicely designed, 100% no-plastic-contact with water, budget friendly electric kettle.

I’ve had this for a few months and so far it’s great and keeps water hot for a while. I had a similar ones no longer listed, that quit heating after couple years of daily use. This heating element looks cheaper, but so far it’s great. I only use to sterilize water and hit the on button a few times consecutively. It goes on quickly and cuts off at boil. It holds well over liter.

i deducted 1 star (would have been a half or quarter star if available) only because you cant see the water level from the outside and the lid cant open straight up for filling, but this is a great unit. boils fast and stays cool to the touch on the outside. also, the contact point to the base is in the center so it swivels to any position. this is a great unit. i bought this one because my other one (not this brand) that i bought 14 years ago gave out. if this one lasts as long, that would be great.

My kids bought this for me as a gift and it absolutely does not disappoint. I love it and use it every day for something—making tea, heating water for a thermos, or even pouring hot water down the drains. It heats up quickly and pours perfectly with no boiling or dripping out of the spout. It’s become one of those appliances I didn’t realize I needed until I had it. So easy to use and incredibly convenient. I couldn’t be happier with this gift and highly recommend it.

It took a long time to find a to find a hot pot that didn't have any plastic parts that came in contact with the water. However It did have a removable small filter that was inserted into the spout that partially made of plastic that I opted not to use)From clear up some comments from past reviews,1. The outside of the hot pot does not get hot to the touch. It's a little warm but nothing unusual.2. It's not that loud that it would disturb people in another room. It does make noise but not any more from a previous pot I used.Granted I've only used it 3xday for a couple weeks but so far it's an excellent value. I was willing to pay more for any pot that met my criteria but was happily surprised to find this excellent value based on its decent construction and performance thus far.6/3/25 UPDATE: After purchasing it last October, the water I now heat up has a metallic taste to it. Over the last few days I've been able to determine it was from the hot pot since the water upsetting my stomach.

This is turning out to be a good kettle. My family loves tea, we have multiple throughout the day. The size and cost have been good for our needs. We can even take it with us when we travel and not worry about it breaking.

It is hot very quickly. No automatic shut off. I have turn off by myself.
