Pretty decent pour over system
Preface this with, I am not a coffee snob. I can tell good coffee from cheap coffee, but I'm not a "I need this brewed at 187° for 165 seconds with 24g of coffee bean" kinda snob. That being said, I like this pour over system. It's straight forward, makes coffee comparable to the French press I was using, and it's a breeze to clean. Pro: Simple clean up. I usually just rinse it out afterwards and let it dry. Hit it with soap on occasions. Two part construction (I hold the black plastic and push on the drain with my thumb) once again makes clean up easy. Unless you submerge it, I don't really see why you'd need to take it apart often. No plastic touching the coffee! I was looking in to some other pour over systems and it seems most are glass or plastic. While glass is fine, I'm always leery of pouring near boiling water in plastic I'm going to eventually drink from. If you find a stainless system they're usually pretty expensive. This was cheap and I can easily toss it in a camping backpack without worrying about breakage. Cons: Not great for large cups. This makes about 8oz coffees. If that's what you drink, this is great. Fits on standard 8oz coffee mugs just fine. I usually like to drink 10-12oz out of novelty mugs. If your favorite mug is wider than about 4 inches, this won't work. If you want more than 8oz of coffee, it does take longer as you'll have to refresh the water while it's draining. Still quicker than my French press. Paper filters are nothing to write home about. It's a pro they include them, but they're pretty cheap and thick. I always rinse them before using them. They're not terrible enough to buy new filters before I use these, but they're not great Overall, I'm digging this little system. Makes good enough coffee for me, and the clean up is excellent. Just wish it had a slightly bigger 12-16oz size

Extremely efficient, sturdy and beautiful as well as extremely functional and durable
I rarely write reviews and try to do so when the product is excellent. This is truly one of the best of its kind. It is owned by a small business and it has many holes underneath for a more even flow of hot water and one can control speed much better than those with one hole at the bottom. The steel and brown are beautiful design wise and I use it instead of a coffee pot all the time. You can place this over just about any size cup or container , it won’t fall over, likely wont break if one drops it, and it’s fast to rinse or wash by hand in two seconds . Well worth the money and I’ve had many others over the years and none compare .

Makes Good Coffee - Works Really Well With Yeti Mugs
This is a really good pour over device, especially if you use regularly use Yeti mugs as I do. The plastic piece feels a bit cheap but is sufficient and the stainless steel funnel is good quality. My only slight complaint might be that none of the holes in the funnel were put into the most recessed areas which seems counter intuitive to me but we're not talking about a lot of liquid here, just common sense of how gravity works overall lol. As I mentioned earlier I do use Yeti mugs and this guy fits really well on their wide rim which many other pour over devices aren't designed well for. I've now owned this for several months at this point and have made well over 200 cups of coffee using it. It's not a complicated device to use and the filters work really well with its design. I did see in another review that someone suggested using the 185 style filters and I gave those a shot and found they fit fine, but they were more of pain overall since the coffee would stick to folds and required more attention when pouring the water to dislodge. The 185 filters didn't filter any better either so I went back to the #4 filters and think they're much better overall for this device. Some of the other reviews on this also seem misguided to me based on what this is designed for. Personally I would never use this to make a full carafe of coffee but even pour overs that are designed for that purpose pretty much use the same filter types in general which means the pour over area of the device is going to be very equivalent. Another comment felt this not being double walled was a drawback but this simply isn't designed to retain water or heat, it's meant to drain coffee into another device so you don't want your grind sitting in the water or heat too long causing over extraction. The key thing overall is that this does make a good cup of coffee and many of the non positive takes I see from others aren't really related to that in my opinion.

Perfect for what I need
I brew 2-3 cups each morning and don't mind the time it takes to refill this several times in order to do this. If you're looking for 1 solid cup (16oz) of coffee, this is perfect for 1 pour. I use size 4 cone filter on it so there's extra filter, preventing grinds from overflowing into the drip. Travels easily, too, in regard to size and ease of cleaning so allows me to have same quality of coffee when I am away from home. I do not like the complexity of cleaning drip coffee machines or Kurig type machines. This allows me to clean my coffee making equipment very easily and thoroughly. I wish they made a larger version so I could use this to make larger batches of coffee. I don't like the plastic ones that are larger. Prefer stainless steel. Hope to see that in their store.

Very pleased
Very nice design. Good quality filter paper and funnel makes for a consistent drip rate. The outer shell is easily removed from the metal funnel to make cleaning easy. Fits just about any mouth on my favorite mugs (travel or otherwise).

Excellent switch for coffee making
Absolutely love this! I was looking for a cleaner/healthier alternative for my coffee to reduce exposure to plastics in my system. This is great if you only make 1 or 2 cups of coffee at a time. When traveling this makes it so easy to access coffee anytime (just need boiling water). Very durable and travels nice. Very simple to clean. You control the flow of water, so the more water you dump in the faster it brews. Fits perfectly over your coffee cup. The outside is plastic but this just holds the stainless steel coffee dripper so you don't burn yourself. You can use either disposable coffee filter or cloth ones, both work great. Very pleased with the price.

Solid but nothing special – bigger and bulkier than the competition
This Brod & Taylor Pour Over Coffee Dripper works perfectly well and brews a decent cup of coffee with good extraction. The stainless steel cone is nice and chemical-free, the insulation keeps things from getting too hot to handle, and the non-slip base is a thoughtful touch that keeps it stable on most mugs. That said, it’s noticeably bulkier and taller than similar cone drippers which makes it take up more space in the cabinet. I don’t see it doing anything meaningfully better in terms of brew quality or speed compared to those slimmer, simpler options—it’s just… fine. If you’re looking for something compact or uniquely superior, this might not be worth the premium. It gets the job done, but I expected more innovation for the price.

My second review of this- correcting my view
I didn’t have a good opinion of this initially. But then I took a second look and try! The stainless steel is highly polished on one side so I wasn’t sure of its quality/ I own a ton of food stainless steel from basic tools, to big equipment so I know all the grades and variations. This is well made and the quality you want coming into contact with hot beverages. Second: the design is way better than my other 3 pour over drippers. Not perfect but it slows the flow a bit to get more flavour out of coffee beans. Third: wasn’t sure why there was a sleeve but I guess I’m just very used to hot things, and still not sure there’s more to its function than keeping heat away. As a manufacturer myself, I get they don’t want liability of someone burning themselves. But hey. It’s aesthetically pleasing. It’s plastic but since it’s not coming into contact with my coffee I’m ok with it. All in all, I recommend. As of this review I haven’t seen anything on the market better than this one. So I would recommend it over what’s out there by the end of 2025 and trust me I am always on the look out for innovations with these drippers. Buy it, you won’t be drinking microplastics and your coffee will taste better!
