Very durable and accurate

For an inexpensive scale, this actually works pretty well. I'm using it to taper my medication. I use this alongside another scale to compare and make sure to change the batteries when needed. Easy to calibrate. Once a month, I shave and weigh all my tablets. Sure, it has an error margin of +/- 0.05g but it's been fairly accurate for me so far at around 0.163g. I don't see any need to buy analytical scales for the purpose of tapering medication. All is going well and I'm happy with my purchase.

The good: Very nice little pocket scale. Very accurate to 0.001 grams. Calibration weight (20g) is included and fits in a recessed pocket in the scale body. Has a good case, easy to open and close. Buttons are easy to press and work well. Display is very readable. Some reviewers find this scale too sensitive, but isn't that what you want in a scale? Breathing will change the 0.001 reading, but I find it to be very accurate. Be aware that this scale overloads at 20 grams so it is not for heavy items. It's great for jewelry, some ammo, collectible coins, gold, vitamin supplements, medicines, herbs, seeds, spices. The weighing tray platform is a bit small, but you can use a lightweight tray or index card and tare it out. The bad: Don't worry if you don't receive the junk tweezers. Still a strong 5 stars.
