I am an artist and photographer so lighting matters in my work space. This is a nice studio/desk/room/task lighting option. It does not take up valuable real estate space on my desk and work table. Great “sticky” adjustments and positions allow it to be used as both general room lighting and/or close-up lighting for specific tasks. Light weight but feels sturdy enough. I have not used the charging feature for my phone, so can’t comment on that. I love the adjustable brightness settings. Versatile and easy to set up right out of the box.

These lights are the workhorse of my remote office set-up. Two indirect sources of light keep the glare off my glasses during video chats. The ability to adjust the color temperature and light level means I have a well lit work environment regardless of the light (or lack of light) coming through my office window. These lights are well-built, sturdy and easy to set-up. I'm considering ordering another set for my favorite reading spot. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this light, despite the poor UX reviews, because I was sick of knocking over the ring light on my desk. I'm on WebEx calls all day, plus I my home office is in a room with very little light, so this product kills two birds with one stone...though the stone is awkward to pick up and hurl.On the plus side, the light in bright as heck...on the clearest/highest setting, it feels like I'm getting a sun tan. The color modes (warm or sterile) are perfect for what I'm using it for, and I like the adjustable brightness settings.The only negative is the function of the adjustment button, and the button locations themselves. I had to move the light (and re-arrange my desk) because the buttons are perplexingly in a spot that's very difficult to get to. I'm a bit baffled that a light that costs this much didn't come with a remote...or a more convenient button location. Additionally, to toggle between adjusting warmth or brightness, it's the same button... with a tiny light that tells you what you're adjusting. This light is near impossible to see...so you're really just winging it. Does it make the product worthless? No. Would it have been nice for someone to actually think this through? Yes.Overall, superb light...works great if it's in a spot on your desk where you can easily reach the buttons.

I got two of these very versatile lights. I use them for streaming and to highlight items on a second camera. When not streaming, I readjust them and dim them a bit and they are fantastic desk lamps.The negatives would be that the control buttons are all smooth with no way tell which button is being pressed unless you’re looking at it. That’s not terrible.What’s worse is there is a tiny LED light — when it’s blue the + and - buttons control brightness. When the light is green, those same buttons control temperature. It’s difficult to see the light if you don’t have the lights positioned directly in front of you.Also, there is no indicator to know what settings you have regarding the brightness. Not a huge deal except when streaming. If you have the light set to a certain level and want them set back to those same settings for another broadcast later, you have no way to tell what the previous settings were.Bottom line, these lights are a little expensive, but they are versatile and give off great light.

It was easy to setup and you can set the light level and the 2 types, bright or day lite.I now you 4 of them in my office to direct the light to the area for near areas.

Things I love, similar to other reviews:+ sleek, pro, high-quality look+ good build quality - moveable, but not loose, and feels solid+ brightness levels pretty good (could use brighter when window open, but oh well)+ color warm<>cool adjustments are handy for getting natural on-camera looks--------------------Things that make it very frustrating for me - may not for you, depending on your set-up and how often you'd change settings.- The swivel head (light) only rotates 270°, not 360. If your ideal set up would require the 1/4 of it that is unreachable, out of luck. I had to pretty radically move a desk/cabinet set up to properly "aim" the light.- Likewise, the arms don't bend as far as similar lights. Exacerbates the limitations of the not fully-rotating light section.[Those 2 issues were solved with re-arranging some things. Not ideal, but it works.]- Changing brightness or the color-temperature is very finicky. Just touching the button doesn't seem to do anything noticeable. So you have to hold it. It takes a second to start changing, but then changes VERY fast, so nearly impossible to get it where I was hoping for.- Having a button that changes what the other buttons do is very frustrating. I've often wanted to turn brighter or darker, only to realize it's changing color. Combined with the weird sensitivity of the touch-buttons makes this extra frustrating because it's hard to get back to where it was.- BY FAR WORST issue is the touch-sensitive buttons. Sure, they look sleek. If you *happen* to have that part of the arm facing you cleanly, it's somewhat okay. But any other set up and it's nearly impossible to make any change without accidentally changing modes, or turning off when didn't mean to, or changing color, etc. Far better would be separate tactile feelable buttons.For that last issue, I finally broke down and taped a marker on the opposite side (where I can see it) to guide pressing the buttons. Ug. (See picture. Buttons are on the bottom side.)The price-to-joy ratio on this is very poor for me. Workable, but not fantastic.
