Excellent, compact, reliable device
I use these with Home Assistant via the native Shelly integration. Bottom line: easy to configure, pair and install with good energy monitoring features and its compact size lets it fit virtually anywhere Pros: - Easy to set up even without apps - Active support and firmware releases (update firmware before integration!) - Tiny and easy to install, even in somewhat crowded electrical boxes or above overhead fixtures - Documentation is acceptable, and the device itself is self-explanatory - Signal is reliable even in metal electrical boxes - Good value for money - Full set of monitoring features including power draw (watts), volts, current (amperage) and energy consumption over time and all appear to be fairly accurate and consistent - Power capacity is well-suited to US branch circuits Cons - I have found one area where these do not work due to RF interference from the controlled device (a motion-sensing light switch). This is not a fault with the monitor itself, but it pays to be aware of equipment that may interfere with its low-power WiFi signal

Does What It Was Made For Very Well
I can’t believer how tiny this is! I’m using it to measure wattage of three outdoor flood lights, so that I can tell if one light stopped working over night. It works great for this purpose. I also use another one to watch power use by my washer, and I get a message on my phone (using this with Home Assistant) to let me know when the wash has finished. I recommend this Shelly PM mini!

Great product, easy to use.
Great product, integrates with home assistant very easily. Easy to use on the shelly app if you like. I prefer to keep all my iot local and not use apps that send your info to wherever.

Works well
It is working very well. I am using it with Home Assistant but also works with the app on the phone. The first one went into the chicken house so I can see if the heat lamps were working. Sometimes they burn out. The second one watches the power for the garage fridge and the garage freezer. Through Home Assistant, I will get a notification if one unit does not pull power for 12 hours.

Very small size. Works very well and fits inside the electrical box. Low resolution charts.
This is an incredibly small power meter. You get real-time readings of intensity and voltage. It is very small. Probably smaller than the coil sensor used by other power meters. It is so small that it fits inside the electrical box, behind the outlet or switch, so it becomes "invisible". My only complaint is that the resolution of the chart, both in the cell-phone app and in the web-browser version, is very low resolution. In spite of the readings being almost in real time, the chart only shows one chart point per hour at best, even with the line chart or the full screen chart. Then, if you want to chart the last 7 days, you only get one data point per day, instead of one data point per hour. Since the hourly data is already on the server, there is not much of a reason to reduce the resolution of the charts. Apparently there is a "Premium" subscription that allows you to track the data in 1-minute intervals. No mention of this before you purchase the product. I may explore that option... Premium price is 4€/month or 36€/year.

No switch, but just what was needed!
Using as an an on/off indicator for my oil burner to calculate consumption in HomeAssistant. Pretty neat!

Handy to watch watts.
Installed into my camper and pellet to monitor watts used. Very easy to install. Use Internet to keep track.

Works great but get the switching version instead
This power-monitoring-only version only saves you 30¢ versus the Shelly that does power monitoring AND switching, so the number of use-cases for this device is pretty small. The reports and information in the app is the same for both versions. That said, it does work very well. You MUST be aware of the type of outlet box you have in your wall as some homes use metal boxes for their outlets, which will greatly reduce (or block) the WiFi signal this needs to work. There's not much to look at with this, as it's meant to be small enough to install inside the wall. The most important aspect are the reports and status screens available in the app OR in your HomeAssistant dashboard. As you can see from my screenshots, you can view the current voltage and amperage in use and you can also view comparison graphs (by day, week, month or even year! This one is wired-in to the outlet for my chest-freezer. You can see that in the last 30 days it has used 32.11 kWh of electricity (or about $5.78).

Slimme gadget
Ideaal apparaatje.

Confusing model names
I'm sure these are good quality, but the way these products are named is very confusing. I had to return them. Just be aware of the power ratings and functions before purchasing. I have since purchased the correct one, but am still waiting for it to arrive.

Fazit: Der Shelly macht absolut, was er soll.

Consigliato senza riserve.
