I needed a webcam for my ServiceNow certification trainings and exams (CSA – Certified System Administrator). The testing requirements are very specific: no auto focus, no zoom, and it has to be a wide-angle camera. The product details didn’t make it clear if this model met those needs, but after testing it myself, I can confirm — it works perfectly. This camera handled everything without any issues during my certification exams. The image quality is clear and stable, and it connects easily without extra setup. It also comes with a remote control that lets you turn off the auto focus and digital zoom, which is exactly what ServiceNow’s testing rules require. The instructions are straightforward, and it only took a few minutes to get everything configured. Super easy to use, plug and play. I like that it has a mic although I still prefer my headphones because they are noise canceling. The quality is pretty good, picture is clear. The remote makes zoom calls so easy to just turn off camera and to zoom in and out..

Good overall. The camera can be a little out of focus at times though. But compared to the nexigo Webcam I had that was a complete nightmare, this product works like a dream

One of the biggest issues I've had with web cams is if my background has no/low lighting, it would look like I'm in a cave. This webcam does the trick! I have calls sometimes between 4 & 7 AM as well as 10 PM to 1 AM the next day and I don't like having a ton of lights on. What a game changer! I looked at many other products by Rayzer, Logitech and others but this cam for the price and delivery takes the cake! I came from using my iPhone as a camera (wired and non-wired), as much as I love the clarity of the iPhone sometimes the connectivity and activity while I'm on calls just makes it a bad experience. In summary, this is a great product and I have no complaints. Setup was easy (plug and play), comes with a privacy window (you can always just disconnect from USB), tripod is sturdy and extends to a good height, the camera itself has the ability to be swivel and turn so set your tripod and adjust the camera itself to get a good position. I'm not sure if the clarity is 4k, but it was clear enough for me and the people I chatted with.

This camera works well but the color temperature on my screen in not true. My image is too cool. My monitor is calibrated correctly and other people on calls look natural. I always look too cool.

Significantly improved the quality of my on-screen image compared to the built-in video camera on my Lenovo Yoga laptop.

Out of the box it was trash, I've used other depstech camera and they have been amazing, however something was wrong with the lens/ sensor it had a constant film grain that would not go away, it was there even when I put the camera coved on, but would disappear if I unplugged the camera completely. Additionally you have a better shot at pulling polar bear teeth and surviving,than getting ahold of these folks

Die DEPSTECH DW50 Pro habe ich als kostenfreies Sample für eine Bewertung im Rahmen des VINE Produkttestprogramms erhalten. Ich bin was Webcams anbelangt, ein Durchschnittsanwender mit relativ geringen Anforderungen an die Kamera. Sie ist meist in Videocalls im Einsatz, bei der kein großer Wert auf hohe Videoqualität gelegt wird. Die meisten meiner Kollegen verwenden die eingebauten Cams ihrer Notebooks. Diesen ist die Depstech auf jeden Fall in allen Belangen überlegen. Die Bildqualität spielt sicher nicht in der Topliga mit, ist aber Längen über der meines Dell Notebooks. Bewegt man sich relativ wenig, würde ich von einer ausgezeichneten Qualität sprechen. Sobald aber Bewegung im Spiel ist, stellt sich relativ schnell Unschärfe ein und bei schnellen Bewegungen hin und weg von der Kamera merkt man das Nachfokussieren der Kamera relativ deutlich. Auch die Qualität des Mikrofons ist eher Mitteklasse. Definitiv eine Verbesserung gegenüber denen der meisten Notebooks, Anwender mit sehr hohen Anforderungen an Audioaufnahmen wird sie aber nicht zufriedenstellen. Was mir an der Kamera sehr gut gefällt, ist die Leichtigkeit der Installation. Einfach Plug & Play das USB Kabel in den USB-A Slot und los geht’s. Außerdem ist der Haltemechanismus sehr gut, weder am Laptop noch am Standmonitor gibt es Probleme mit dem Sitz der Kamera. Auch die Haptik des Geräts ist positiv hervorzuheben. Die Kamera hat außerdem einen Schieber verbaut, mit der die Linse abgedeckt werden kann. Das ist sehr praktisch, der Hebel dafür könnte aber etwas größer sein. Das beiliegende Stativ und die Fernbedienung habe ich bisher noch nicht genutzt, da ich dafür bisher einfach keinen Gebrauch hatte. Alles in allem würde ich die Kamera als sehr solide bezeichnen. Es lassen sich mit ihr sicher keine Ausflüge in die Welt von High End Audio oder Video unternehmen, aber für den Durchschnittsanwender bietet sie gute bis sehr gute Qualität.

It's a cheap camera so if you want high end result you will have to spend a lot more. I use the camera as a alternative for my windows as long I my office my screens are in front of me and I can not look out the windows without standing up. Perfect daylight video with an decent frame rate. Keep in mind, stream or recording 4k content doesn't work on a slow computer. For me an great solution for a bargain

This webcam is great! I had originally planned to get a cheap model but opted to spend a bit more to get this one and am sojhappy I did! I am using it for doing remote music jam sections and it was great! The remote control turned out to be extremely useful. The remote made it so easy to adjust brightness, video colour tone, or zoom in on the fly. I was able to zoom in and focus on my hands for guitar without compromising the image quality at all. The camera itself is quite a bit longer and heavier than other similar models but the weight of it made it easier to balance on a monitor as a result. Its definitely not subtle. It has a built in privacy slider instead of those flip up ones that sometimes flip off altogether - I like the slider much better. I have a professional audio setup so I don't use the mics from it but from the times that the sound has gone through the webcam accidentally, I'd call the sound 'good enough for business meetings' but I'm a biased musician! I like this webcam enough I'm considering getting a second one to replace my other computer's webcam as well!
